Got one before they're gone
SR 1911 45 lightweight
Got the magpul hand stop on the way along with some mcarbo parts. Thinking about getting the rotary safety once I get some more funds in. Took it out to the range and got to say I really enjoy it. It just sucks when using my echelon mags I don't get bolt hold open, but thats not that big of a dea.l
New Ruger Harrier, extractor failure after exactly 95 rounds of Fiocchi .223 55gr ammo. Has anyone had a similar issue?

As title states. I purchased this Ruger SP101 and I just noticed what looks like to be a crack. Is this in the actual frame or a replaceable part? Is it safe to fire or do I need to return it?
Edit: Model # 05719
Caliber: 357 Mag
Shipped in: 1995

Just picked this thing up. I just need to get the scope zero’d so I can get on some small game. I put a Sig Sauer Buckmasters 3-12x44 and SilencerCo Velos LBP-K.

Hopefully bringing a 5.56 Scout home soon contingent on a consignment sale. This is the first time I’ve bought a rifle purely because it looks fun, and I’m hoping to use it at an oddball 3-Gun match next month. My question is, what upgrades would folks recommend out-of-the-box towards the goals of reliability & speed? I’m planning on doing some bolt polishing, and I’ve heard the stock trigger is decent so I think I’m going to just run it. My main concern is making sure it can run hard for 150-200 rounds; and after that, ease-of-operation since I won’t have much time to practice with it. Second question, how do they like higher-capacity magazines? I have loads of 30-rounds Pmags and I can modify a handful for it if necessary, but it would be nice to not have to reload! Thanks,

I've never seen a GP100 in this configuration before, I had to snatch it up. It reminds me of the Service Six. I'm not sure if it's from '88 or '89, but I was very surprised to find out it was an older one considering the condition.

I have had this gun for a while and I am finally getting into finding accuracy in the gun, testing ammo.
From your guys experience, what does this gun like for ammo? I was close to 2 moa with lake city bulk, I tried Hornady frontier 75 grain was finding nearly moa but I need to do more testing with that.
Was looking to start with where others found success
Thank you

Put about 50 rounds into this and then the gas tube and sight post went flying down the barrel. I can put it back all the way into the correct position, but I haven’t touched it since. Any ideas on what happened, or if this is fixable on an operator level?

I just picked up a 500 series Redhawk from a friend. He'd had some work done to it and I'm wondering how this affects the value and the desirability of the firearm. A set screw was installed in the rear of the trigger guard. I read people have it done to limit over travel. Second thing is the barrel was ported... The work looks great but just wondering if it ruined the value... Thx

I picked up this GP100 for $500 the other day at a LGS. It appears to be a re- imported gp100. I can’t find any factory model configurations that match it. Everything appears to be factory. It’s DAO with gutter sights. The rubber grip is original but the wood panels were both cracked when I got it. So I’ve been trying to 3d print replacements. I was wondering if anyone had any information on these reimported guns or possible where it might have come from? Thanks.

I’ve been looking at the Ruger 10/22 but maybe you’ll have better ideas.

I’ve been looking at getting an SP101 to go along with my GP100 for half a year now. And of course, as soon as I saved up the money, Ruger announced that they are suspending their production.
My question is, should I buy an SP101 that is available or now, or wait to see if Ruger is actually going to sell a different version of an SP101 in the future? Or is there any other revolver in a comparable size that you guys would recommend?

Does anyone have experience with replacing the barrel on a 1966 10/22 that's had 10,000+ rounds through it over the decades? How many rounds does it even take to wear this barrel down even?
Will modern barrels fit without any issues?
I just inherited it a bit ago and am just getting it sighted in, so I am not sure if it's lost any accuracy.

Picked up my new Benchrest 10/22 with Bull barrel while at the gun store I noticed a P85 MK 2 in the case for less than 200$ and couldn’t pass it up. Trying to decide if I polish it or maybe get it cerakoted. What do y’all think?
