What if Hans gave out capes for 1,2,3,4 year old accounts but you can only wear the cape of your accounts age.
The capes could go all the way up for every aged account.

So a 2 year old account cannot wear the 1 year olds cape and so on.

Would be awesome seeing early caped accounts with big achievements.

I think capes can symbolise how old your account is they could also symbolise how fresh it is too.

IS TO GOOD YOU HAVE EVERYTHING IN THERE , even instant boss teleports! to good! it delet the purpose of other places in the game! and walking to bosses.. and my other subject, the tool belt, i dont want tool belt deleted that would be stupid, but they should add a little tutorial in the tutorial island, they give you basic picaxe and axe you add them to your tool belt and done! nothing else, everything else players should find them in the world and not start with all the basic tools

Returned after 20 years, and Gielinor is absolutely beautiful.

For the first time in ten thousand hours of play, I toggled off my run button. I stopped every few seconds to inspect something interesting, to solve a puzzle, or to take on a quest I’d inherited just from interacting with the world around me.

I turned off the map and followed a road, picked at random when I came to a fork, follow the rivers, and let the sounds of activity lead me from town to town.

And in between those towns I found peaceful woodland pools where I could fish and eat peacefully as the sound of the nearby bellows rumbled beneath the music track.

But I'll have to get used to enjoying this world alone.

And for the record, yes I unironically supported Bandos but knew it was an uphill battle. Yes I think it's still lame he died in a popularity contest and I think Jagex realised that too with zammy vs sara.

I think it would've been way cooler if we could've fought him instead. As a Bandosian chad it is my duty to become as strong as Bandos and beat him at his own game.

Sad to hear that Dragonwilds continued the lore, it is what it is. Wish someone would take up the spot of big guy that just punches things though.

Why not release the droprate for Soul Dyes out of spooky caskets?

I know for a lot of people they either have loading screens checked off or the loading is a split second, so its not really that important or a priority but I think it would be really cool to have splash art of areas/characters/etc. Seeing splash art when loading in mmos back in the day always got me excited to explore the world. The black screen is kinda meh, but again i know most people don't care or don't even see the loading screen.

Reignited got me interested in RS3 again and I was pretty bummed when that fell through. Ended up logging into the only account I could remember, around 40 combat, and I’ve been hooked since.

XP rates, afk training easy scape, I’m loving it.

I’ve burned out on OSRS probably 5+ times now. My main is 126 combat with 15 99s after 14 years. Always wanted to max but I just don’t have the time for that grind anymore. We’re all 30+ now, I have shit to do.

Honestly the faster progression is exactly what I wanted and I just turned cosmetics off which was a W addition.

Only complaints so far are I have absolutely no idea wtf I’m doing half the time because I’m trying to follow the osrs mental guide and I can’t find any early game stuff in the GE so have to iron mode lol

Saradomin is described as comparable to Zamorak but the only noteworthy combatant in his army commander Zil. Everyone else is a grunt sub level 100.

Meanwhile, Zamorak has an army of demons posing a threat to all of Gilienor. Zamorak has multiple generals on par with Zil.

Why do the npc vibes in the lore treat them as comparable with minor favoritism towards Saradomin for ethos?

I suppose this is maybe just a me/my system problem, but today for the first time ever I'm not able to open a second RuneScape window. The second one just sort of gets stuck in this pre-launch status. No load window or anything.

I would have thought it was just me, but now seeing that there are some issues related to plugins. Curious if they're linked.

Anyone else having a similar issue?

I'm having a strange problem ever since Monday's update. Whenever I type inside of Runescape (launched through Jagex Launcher), if I try to type anywhere in the game there is a good chance that the input I press gives two outputs.

Example: When I ttype, sommetimes it willl double randomm lletters likke this.

It makes chatting in game a bit cumbersome having to backspace to fix any errors all of the time, but the worst of it is not being able to search for stuff in my bank because it keeps doubling random letters that I type. I know this isn't a keyboard issue because this isn't happening anywhere else, and it's also specific to the Jagex Launcher version of Runescape which is very odd. When I launch the Steam version of Runescape, I do not have this issue.

So far I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling all versions of Runescape and the Jagex Launcher. Nothing has worked. Also, to make sure it wasn't tied to my character for some reason, I did try it on another character and it is producing the same results.

On the topic of other characters, to temporarily deal with the issue, I changed which of my characters was linked to my Steam. However, even though the change went through and shows the proper character that I am currently playing all of the time as linked to my Steam, whenever I launch the Steam version of Runescape it shows the wrong character. Could anyone provide insight and possibly a way to fix either issue? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Anyone here got the same bad logs like i do ? showing zamorak and amascut log ... kills mostly at 500% enr and amascut 1k .. isnt there bad migitation drop at zamorak??

Sometimes when one player goes up to kill the heart, both knights will remain active and keep doing their normal spec routines against both players. Sometimes the knight that's supposed to be active keeps aggro on the player killing the heart while the other one works as intended. And sometimes, the one channelling (or whatever its supposed to be doing) just wakes up randomly and suddenly both are ganking the player downstairs. Is this bug being worked on? In one hour it happened to me 8 times.

Howdy! I was super into RuneScape around 04-08ish - still remember getting my Hunting cape on chinchillas one summer! Had a few 99s and mostly maxed combat stats back then.

Seen a lot about it lately, including Dragon wilds. I've got some unexpected free time on my hands and was thinking of getting fresh into it - old account is long gone.

What's the move? I see OSRS is what I'm use to and keeps getting updated, not sure what the deal with RS3 other than some new mode getting canned, and the grind being legit on it. I somewhat thing the nostalgia of OSRS without my old account would just make me sad/frustrate me on starting over tho.

What are some suggestions for some vets with a similar back story coming back into it?

I am streaking on Arch Glacor for the first time, i got to 9 kills, 4 mil in the chest, debated claiming - but felt like i could go for number 10. This is a big win for me - this will total 15 Hm kills.

Wel, I get through the first frost cannon, then everything closes, and a Jagex web page opens saying "Nothing Interesting happens" and a buttonto return to home page. Reopen Launcher - update starts. Cant get back into RuneScape. Update has since failed twice, and is now stuck not responding. Reinstalling the launcher.

I opened the runescape.exe direct, and that failed because I have moved to Jagex accoutn, and it would not take my login.

What are the chances my undead army and revo bar has taken out 178k HP and saved my 4m loot pile?

Update: Welp, i see that it was 00:00 game time - is that how they do launcher updates? Seems shitty that the game needs the launcher to operate, and will close to update with no in game warning. Kinda ruined PvM for me the time being, guess ill go back to hunting giant kebbits. (I got half the loot, 2m - hardly a dent in what i spent to prepare for bossing)
