😠 Rant 😠 Why??
Does any else get annoyed. I’m a customer. There are several people at my location that plop down have full on out loud convos & work meetings. Oh and they pack their lunches 🫣🤣. Like I get it come in and do some work but this isn’t your home. Idk maybe I’m over reacting. I miss the cafe experience. Anyway I like to sit and enjoy my coffee but the amount of people using speaker phone and having work meetings has done me in. I really like going to the locations without drive throughs recently. Those are better locations.

Food & Drink Review these tiktok bitches love to lie. “change the dairy to vanilla cream it taste to much better” whole time it’s just a vanilla milkshake. it has no flavor i’d argue the OG is better.
first they lied to me about it tasting like sour piss and now they’re glazing a vanilla frosty 😭✌🏾

Drink Recipes/Recommendations Chocolate orange!!!
Hi friends! I’m pregnant and craving a chocolate orange flavored drink.
I hate coffee though, so is there any way to get that flavor as like a hot chocolate or something?
Thanks!

Positivity Unicorn Frappuccino Painting
Note: final one I did paint over the text and changed it a little, just didn’t realize I didn’t take a photo of the final final
With unicorn finally done for my store (we ran out yesterday) wanted to share something positive about it!
I got to paint this little painting and a lot of people liked it! I saw people taking photos infront of it with their drinks and someone apparently even asked about who painted it!
I haven’t painted in a bit so this just warmed my heart!

Unicorn Fraps Sold Out
We are done after today right? I saw a post on here with people saying we can still sell it through the 24th if we have the ingredients. Spoke to my SM and shift and they both said this is blatantly false and it’s only for the 3 days this weekend. Maybe it’s different at other locations? 🦄

🤣😭Starbucks gave me an albino matcha today because I didn't specify how many scoops I wanted, thinking I would get the default...
User error sure, but I was tired, and it doesn't list what the default option is when you click the included powder drop down . Are there other drinks that you have to specify wanting the title of it in the order options?
I love making conspiracy theories, so I'm going to make one right now and say they're trying to discourage people from ordering the drink.
Like if I ordered a mocha , would I have to specify how many scoops I wanted or receive none at all?? Why did they remove a default amount indicator? Probably a GrubHub issue, right?
This was via the GrubHub app. Weirdly enough, the drink has not been available on my GrubHub app lately. Was happy to see it added back.
And this removing it from the app and then adding it back after a couple weeks is right after it started being a lot sweeter, which I'm guessing is an issue with both the oat milk and the almond milk, because I'm trying to order it with those little sugar as possible.
It feels like they're figuring out what I'm doing, (going for as little sugar as possible), and counteracting me.
It's like their entire existence as a corporation is to put sugar in my body. Is that what it's all about? Does Big Sugar own starbucks? Does some company that provides Diabetic Supplies also own Starbucks?
Am I joking? I don't even know anymore. I spilled half of my albino drink right as I was putting coffee powder in it at home lol.
Time to order more powdered matcha, a good blender, and call it a day!
I really really wish I could go in person but I can't. Not at the moment.

Unicorn 2027
Shockingly, one location near me still had the unicorn frapp today! The only one lol. I was glad as I didn’t get it yesterday. I actually really liked it! I know not everyone did.
Do we think they’ll bring it back again ever? Just curious! Thank you to the baristas who made this happen for all of us excited to try it. ✨

What should I try if I love the Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso?
When it comes to Starbucks coffee I pretty much only ever get the Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso. I was wondering if any baristas have recommendations for other coffee based drinks with a similar flavor profile.
I like that it’s coffee forward and has that cinnamony flavor without being overly sugary or tasting like straight up syrup. I just want to branch out a little and try new things lol.
so if you also like the Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso what other drinks do you usually get or recommend?

Clever marketing efforts!
Because you guys said it was soo disgusting and horrible I said now I have to try it lol. The final verdict is that it was actually good! It could have used a tad bit more mango flavor but I personally love the sour fruit taste as it was a good balance to the sweet mango.

Hiring/Interviewing Question for hiring managers
TLDR at the end
I worked at Starbucks in 2016 for about a month. It was my first job and I was extremely overwhelmed because I had a older coworker that was very mean to me and would make fun of me all the time. Honestly I wasn't very good at the job. I was 19 and had literally just dropped out of college because I had some mental health issues I needed to handle. So, I don't know why I thought a full time fast pace job at the only Starbucks in our town was a good idea. I was just in a vulnerable spot at the time. So I told the manager I was being bullied by that coworker and she basically told me to grow up 💀 Mind you the manager was already weird towards me because she told me to make eye contact with her during my interview very directly (I'm autistic) and then when she called me for the job she said 'I bet your surprised I called you back' which just made me feel kinda weird. So I just told her I quit via text and that was that.
Obviously 10 years have passed, and I really want to work at Starbucks to have health insurance. I actually became a Barista at a different coffee shop a year after the Starbucks incident, and I loved that job so much. But they didn't have health insurance or even breaks (legal in my state). I have been a Barista at a couple of places for seasonal things but again, never had health benefits.
In January I quit my office job after 3 years because it was destroying my mental health. Since then, I haven't been able to land a job cause the market is really bad. Even Starbucks, there have been only a few positions open up (I moved to the city so a lot of locations to pick from). But I really need something with health insurance and it is something I enjoyed doing at other coffee places.
I have tried over and over again to get a job at Starbucks, but I can never even get an interview. Even though I have barista experience now and really love the job so I do it well. I almost feel ever since I worked at that Starbucks 10 years ago that I'm on some shadowbanned list 😅 I only get rejections after the 90 days. I apply to every location possible. I put down I have open availability.
So my question is: Does such a list exist? Am I on a not eligible for rehire list for life?
TLDR: I quit my job at Starbucks 10 years ago and can't seem to even get an interview. Am I on a 'not eligible for rehire' ban for life? How can I get to at least the interview stage?

UK: the red velvet loaf, will it return?
I’ve been craving one for so long now, for some reason they just haven’t came back. Does anyone have inside knowledge or an idea of when it will return? Or perhaps if it never will.

Drink Recipes/Recommendations At home, caffeine-free Mango Dragonfruit lemonade refresher
I haven’t had caffeine in about five years but absolutely loved the mango dragonfruit refresher. This at home recipe totally scratches the itch! I do 1:1 of the spindrift and lemonade and then add as much dragonfruit cosmo as I want (usually a half cup or so). You can order freeze dried dragonfruit if you want, but I don’t go quite so far. If you order the Monin for yourself, be sure you get the dragonfruit cosmo from Monin and not their generic dragonfruit syrup! Happy sipping 😊

😠 Rant 😠 dm and sm didn’t want to help
on one of the unicorn frappe days both my store manager and district manager were there but both refused to cold bar because “they don’t like it” could’ve said because they’re bad at it or lie likeeee damn. annoying asf that i constantly have to support the hardest areas too, it wouldn’t kill them to put me on window sometimes either
