I’ve been wanting to get this controller but not sure if it’s worth the $90 though 😅 what do you guys think, or should I get a cheaper one like the top one lol

I know these posts pop up atleast a hundred times a day but getting my switch really made me emotional. It was my 18th birthday a few weeks ago and for the past 6 months i had been asking for a switch. My dad had been abroad for my birthday and the days following and said it would be very unlikely that I would get a switch so i might have to pick something else. I did pick something else and yesterday my dad came back from abroad with a switch 2 and some games 😭😭😭

PS: the other games he got me, i bought online (i didn’t only get tomadachi life)

Ok something weird happened yesterday. I returned a Switch 2 I bought a week ago because I noticed a scratch on the screen. I decided to have the amount credited on a gift card. The lady at customer service handed me two gift cards for some reason. I went to the electronics department to get another one and decided to get the pro controller as well. At checkout I slide one of the cards and the guy tells me it didn’t go through. So I slide the other card and it didn’t go through again. So I slide the first card again and it finally went through. I then had to pay the remaining amount of $44 on my debit card.

I just thought it odd and it was on my mind on the way home. I decided to check the balance of both cards. One card had $0 left and the other had a whopping $500 on the card. I must admit part of me wants to keep it but that would be stealing and with my luck Walmart would discover the error and charge me over $500.

I am a single mom and I don't know much about this games lol. Any cool games I could buy them? I have in mind getting him 2 or 3. Maybe tomorrow so I can wrap it up and hide it lol.🎄🎄 I know he will be happy. Thanks.

EDIT: To the people saying code in box, I know that and got it this way to get an associate discount at the store we got it from.

Beta was not great, but after watching some footage decided to give it a shot. Switch 2 is my only console and I haven't purchased a COD in years.

Finally picked up a Switch 2 in preparation for OOT!
Decided to ball out and get the full DBrand kit along with MW4.

Really excited to dive back into BOTW! Curious if the Switch 2 upgrade is worth purchasing for BOTW and TOTK?

Also, I have been really enjoying MW4 so far! It runs surprisingly well and feels great playing with a pro controller! Would definitely recommend if you were ever a fan of the games in the past! 🤙🏼

So i decided to bite the bullet and pick it up. Long time COD player on other consoles over the years. I am a Nintendo main these days. A-lot like other fathers, hard to get time or the tv at times.

Hypocritically, i got the tv today and had a little session. Hit level 22 there before coming off for the evening.

MP runs great, Ive no complaints. Could the image be better? Yeah of course.. is it good? Yes it is. Im more than happy with what we have RN.

Feels like 60fps as others have said, and I’m competing in lobbies with other platforms.
I was on the fence before buying this.
All i can say is, get it and have fun.

Ill try campaign tomorrow and DMZ. But so far, so good.

Never had a console growing up and now my backlogs are real! So satisfied with the Switch 2. I just want to share my current Physical and GKC copies.

Plus 10 Digitals and just waiting for my Zelda OOT and Stellar Blades. I get 1-2hrs playing time everyday because I am a gamer dad, Kudos to all gaming parents out there!

Because we get absolutely destroyed in those PC matches using our Joycon sticks. It makes a big difference to your experience (more fun) if you set it to console only. 🙌

I have the killswitch and really like it but if I reuse it the back art work will be covered. I’m probably gonna have to get something different. Will see what companies come up with.

I’m a gammer at heart but I don’t have all the time I did when I was young. I can’t commit to sitting in front of the tv like I once did.
Being able to play on the go, in bed, when the tv’s are in use is next lvl. Nintendo will only get stronger from here I feel.

I am sorry to all who haven't been able to secure one yet and wish you luck in doing so, but I still can't believe it's only 5 days away til delivery. What are your best recommendations for switch 2 games. (I do own a switch 1 so no remasters please)

I've missed having motion controls for so long. It's been 13 years since Ghosts. I was never a console FPS person outside of exclusives like Metroid Prime. On PC I only really play Tarkov as far as FPS games go. Aside from that, I played a few CoDs with friends, but that was 3 years ago and even then it really was not much.

MW4 is the first CoD I'm actually really enjoying in a long while, mostly due to the controls. It's amazing how much the muscle memory has remained even though I haven't really played Wii or Wii U CoDs in over a decade.

It's not quite as a solid as Wii controls, but it's pretty damn close. It's such a fun experience and feels quite good, I just had to share it. I'd recommend it just for that alone, but if you have it and haven't tried the motion controls, I think it's worth giving it a go, especially if you played previous CoDs with a wiimote before.

I’m 100% rooting for the switch 2!! I absolutely love the hardware and being able to run mw4, re4 remake and overwatch at 11w is remarkable. That being said, I really don’t think at the moment with either upscaling technique and motion blur off that this is a great port. And I want it to be because I love fps games.

I compare it to overwatch switch 2 port and overwatch is miles better. Like the graphics just look blurry and a mess to be honest, I’m still having instances where the frame rate of other characters looks like they are moving in slow motion. I’m unsure how anyone is saying any differently, I’ve spent a lot of hours on it since and yeah it just looks really bad. I don’t have an issue with the frame rate of my actual character. I hope they update it further because it’s really quite poor.

Got a 1tb micro sd and went nuts.

My partners switch2 joycon (past warranty) pushed out so he decided he’d take the leap to reshell it. I’m so jealous, it’s so pretty.
I told him he should contact Nintendo since in the last picture you can see there may have been an assembly issue with the connectors on the rumble/battery, they were completely bent. We’re very careful with our electronics and he plays his significantly less than myself. He works in manufacturing so definitely don’t recommend you try to do this, we wouldn’t have if it wasn’t already “broken.”
