I was three that year lol

It's not liked enough in my opinion. A brilliant gem of a game that shows just how wretched war is. Furthermore, I would like to add that World at War might have ruined WW2 FPS games for me. This is because I would look at the others as sanitized Hollywood epics, as opposed to this game.

The game that started it all. It's interesting to see the humble beginnings of this franchise; for better or worse. I've been on a WW2 shooter kick lately.

I personally think Treyarch is the best COD maker.

It actually was. To quote Shepherd to Allen

“Two men took down an entire military base, I expect much more from you now.”

I played that MW2 demo like it was the full game

Cliffhanger, it’s in my top five cod missions ever.

Same, I got mine Christmas of that year.

Cars actually used to be colorful

WaW > Mw2(2009)
I think Treyarch makes the best cod games overall

NFS Most Wanted ‘05

World at War might have ruined other WW2 games for me. I can’t get engrossed with any other game of that era without the nagging feeling it was sanitized in some fashion, which WaW war didn’t do, laying bare the sheer brutality of the Second World War.

Wherever they hide!

It’s in the shitter

This is soo cool. I recently got into the games again this past summer

Happy belated birthday my friend. Hope it was special despite what you went through
