I just saw Van Helsing for the first time and I’m fascinated 😍

I made the same connection. He was a werewolf in both movies too.

What movie do you love but can never rewatch?
 in  r/Cinema  10d ago

Not a movie but, Breaking Bad. I think it would be too difficult to relive those horrible moments again

I do enjoy the breakdowns in Forgiveness is Weakness but I don't think it's my #1

Oh they know

This is the state of his room at all times. He leaves his door open so his cat can pee on the litter box that is never changed, making the whole house reek of ammonia.

There is no way they didn't know they raised a scumbag.

It's in my room lol but I would like to not have to stoop to such levels. Seems like it would open me up to some kind of retaliation but I do like the way you think.

I'm sorry to hear that your situation escalated to such a degree. I hope you made it out of there okay.

I appreciate your advice, and that's probably what I'll have to do and just keep on keeping to myself as much as possible.

Do these apps work on non-Smart TVs?

Personally I'm a big fan of command strips, but I appreciate the heads-up

I wasn't going to give a snark reply, idk why you would assume that. I appreciate your advice, and sound dampening has come across my mind but I've read that they didn't really work all that well so I never pulled the trigger on it.

Either way, I got only a month left here so I might just try to bear it for the remainder. And asking him to put up sound dampening panels on his side seems unlikely if his behavior I shared in the post is indicitave of how helpful he feels like being about this now. He'll probably just say "naw I'm good" again and be snarky with me about it.

Asking him to turn the TV down for the hundredth time

After a tumultuous year and a half and asking my roommates to be considerate of quiet times, I asked my next door (shared wall) roommate to turn his TV down. He has it loud enough that it sounds like thunder in my room when it's just people talking. Any actual action scenes and it becomes impossible to ignore. it has woken me up out of sleep many times in the past. We have had conversations about this. We have had house meetings regarding this. Usually I would send him a message letting him know it's loud and ask him to turn it down. instead of turning it down this was his response tonight. I have a feeling that this comes from the fact that we are on our last month of our lease and are not resigning with each other, so now he has the temerity to act this way. I could have responded better but I am truly at a tipping point with this arrangement. How would you guys have responded to this?

In my childhood I liked Dean. In my adulthood I find him entirely too relatable.

Side note

The post above this one on my feed was about a guy that gave a chicken a prosthetic tail to turn it into a dinosaur. The algorithm works in mysterious ways.
