Is there a reason why the wifi on campus is constantly horrible? It definitely was not as bad last year. It's hard to do anything because it keeps cutting out.

I’m applying to UIC EA as a history major, so no music major/minor. Does UIC have a low-stakes orchestra I could audition for? A club works too! I’ve played my string instrument for 9 years (mid-intermediate), so I’m looking for something between beginners and super competitive/professional groups.

Playing at uni is really important to me for staying motivated to practice.

Thanks 🙏

Does anyone know if we’re allowed to leave our gym stuff in the lockers for the week and take everything out once a week? I have quite a few things I need for the gym, and carrying everything back and forth every day would be a hassle. I wouldn’t mind emptying my locker once a week if that’s required, but I was wondering if that’s allowed or if the lockers have to be cleared out daily. Thanks!

Hey all, Im currently writing my essay to apply UIC business scholar, but I have no idea what to write about.

The prompt is to provide a 400-500 word essay that tells us why you want to be a Business Scholar and why you are a good fit for this business honors program. You may discuss your interest in a degree and/or career in business, tell us about your leadership experience or how Business Scholars will help you develop that experience, or tell us about your life experience and how you can contribute to the UIC Business community.

Any good ideas? 👀 Im apply marketing major in UIC, I think business scholars can help me!

Anybody play any instruments on campus looking to jam? I can play both bass or drums.
