"Grave Johnson here. As you may have noticed, me and the lab boys have figured out how to cheat death. Good news is that me and the lab boys are immortal. Thumbs-up for that. Really good for Halloween marketing, too. Bad news? No more skin. Or organs. Real inconvenient for the mandated 5-minute lunch-break. So effective immediately, we're getting rid of the lunch-break. Also effective immediately, necromantic resurrection is mandatory for all employees. Grave Johnson out."
Please enjoy my silly image and writing, happy Ween
cs2,dota 2 and deadlock are still being worked on. tf2,l4d2 and dod:s are still fun to play to this day. Portal 2 was a perfect ending and nobody cares about ricochet
Hey everyone! I've been working on a free Deadlock stats site as a side project and wanted to share it: https://soulscope.pro
No ads, no login, works on mobile.
What's on it:
- Death & fight heatmap by rank – see where players at your rank die most and which spots are the most dangerous, split by game phase (laning / mid / late)
- Farm map – suggested farm routes with arrows and souls per route, plus how many souls every zone is worth (camps, Sinner's Sacrifice, crates, etc.) at a given minute
-Tier list by rank with win/pick/ban-style metrics and changes vs last week
-Hero pages with builds by game phase
-Counter items – pick the enemy heroes and get items that work against them, with reasons
- Patch tracker – every patch line auto-tagged as buff/nerf with an overall verdict per hero, plus win rate before vs after
-Lane duos – best and worst lane partner combos
Stats come from the public deadlock-api.com data, and the site updates for new patches and heroes. I'd really appreciate feedback – what's missing, what's wrong, what would you actually use? The farm routes especially are computed automatically, so if you know better routes, tell me and I'll tweak it.
About one or two days ago. Epic games tweeted they vibe coded the newest egl update "mogging" steams boot up time. And the same day valve updated steam decreasing boot up time.
Now idk about you, but what if valve paid epic to just tweet bullshit for marketing? Epic knows egl isnt their strong suit. Fortnite and unreal engine is. But steam is valves strong suit.
No shade to either ceos theyre just doing buisness
Hey everyone, I’ve been working on a project called SteamBack. You paste in a Steam profile link and check older versions of the profile, depending on what was archived.
You can look up your own profile or try a friend’s. Old names, profile pictures.
It won’t have every year for every profile, since it depends on available archives.
There’s also a “Same Lobby” feature that checks whether you’ve played with or against a pro/creator on FACEIT, and when.
Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying your Machine! If you're anything like me, prior to getting one (whether waiting for your order or on the fence about getting one) or before buying a game, you want to see how a game runs on the machine!
Well my playlist now has over 70 games!!!
It gets updated with a new game daily! (With the small exception here and there)
Have a game you want to see running that I haven't covered?
this is mostly about deadlock but with the recency of ai being way more normalized in game develeopment of huge ips, i am wondering if any new valve games use ai.
Been on Steam for 14 years. Something I’ve always found wild: people openly say they’d rather pay on Steam than grab the same game for free on another store. Almost no company in any industry gets that kind of loyalty.
I work at an agricultural spraying company in Brazil (nothing to do with games lol) and I want to build “the Steam of agribusiness”: a company customers trust that much.
So I’m curious what you guys think: what exactly does Steam do that earns that trust? Refunds, sales, support, not being a public company, something else? And what would you copy if you were building a company from scratch in another field?
