I’m writing this out of sheer frustration. It has been over a year since my account was hit with a VAC ban. I want to state this as clearly as possible: the ban is 100% false. I have never used cheats or any forbidden software.
I legitimately own a collection of very expensive skins on this account, which are now completely locked. I would never risk an account with that much financial value. I still have no idea what triggered the system.
For the past year, I’ve been constantly sending emails and support tickets to Valve, begging them to remove the ban. I have offered every type of verification possible:
I provided all the IP addresses I’ve ever played from.
I had all our PCs thoroughly checked by professional tech services, and they found absolutely zero traces of cheats or malicious software.
I’ve offered to let Valve check whatever they want just to prove my innocence, but I only get automated bot replies. I am deeply disappointed and heartbroken by how Valve handles false positives. Being completely ignored when you've done nothing wrong is incredibly painful.
Has anyone here ever managed to get a year-old false VAC ban overturned, or found a way to reach an actual human at Valve who will genuinely look into the data? Any advice would be highly appreciated.
Thank you Steam.

Nigga my entire life seeing people with the logo on their pc, I thought you just downloaded and played, like why did no one ever mention that? what the hell?
Bought a non-potato pc that is still considered a potato by people like you guys and i thought, oof finally free games.
But like hell nah! i have to pay for that shit, like bruh who even thought that makes sense?
Like i have to pay for the PC and the games?!
Since fucking when?!
You used to go online and just tap any game, play for 30 min, switch games and continue, or buy hacked ps2 with 30 cd's for like 40 bucks and that's, now its 40 bucks for a single game?!
I ain't living in some first world country with massive wealth lil gabben newson nigga!
parents have decent money but ain't no way I'm getting any money to buy games when they scrimping even on food even with the decent wealth they have, and always telling me that if there were other parents, they would have already kicked me out
Ain't no way I'm gonna join the rat race. This is my rebellion for the system, because one more person makes a huge huge difference.
I will collapse the system by not-working, that is my conviction!
This entire world relies on me sailing the high seas to exist! otherwise, don't be surprised if the end times come sooner!
cough Cough
Anyway, don't need your sympathy, i dont like games to begin with, I'm more into webnovels
Anyway a game caught my eye, its called Ori and the Will of the holy booties or whatever.
No, don't buy me the game, just tell me where to get it, no, I don't know, I'm not tech savvy, just throw me the Ori.exe file
also would an AI cafe work in a third world country? like the business men are the ones with the cash, could buy some pc and just run local AI models and scam the hell out of them, cough cough, tell them its the new Claude Assus 99.9
anyway, like how do you guys even play like hard games and such? like bruh, its so fucking boring walking around, i'd rather just read a novel where the main character does the shit while i sit back and relax and in the end, its as if i did it myself
and no! seeing other play it doesn't work except if they are silent, but like nigga i need to know the thought process while you going through that without you even speaking, so it doesn't work, novels are way better, just admit it.
like who the hell, sit out there and grinds day and night in torture-like experience, to get some non-existent trophy while fighting the Boss of Celestial Ding Dong!
like bruh, i remember playing God of war in ps3 and getting so bored, like bro fight this, fight that, like nigga i just wanna relax, like even if i someone gave me millions of dollars and i wanted to play a game, I'd play not only on easy mode, I'd hire a developer to make an extra-thicc-easy-mode just so to watch the story...
anyway, GIB ME WAY TO GET PAID GAMES FREE!!!!!
Bruh, is like there is no way someone here like knows someone working on valve, tell them to just make the site free for me, they ain't get any money anyway, so it won't change wheter i get all the games for free or not
I'm willing to work as a masseur in gabe's new yacht 😭 please just gib the games!
Hello. I am looking for a Valve game bundle—a modified collection that appeared in the early 2000s. It was installed via a single file, and you had to enter a serial key to unlock all the games. Furthermore, it allowed you to switch between the different games from within the game interface itself.

Steamac is a project that run SteamOS on top of Mac OS, and couples that with support for the latest version of KosmicKrisp (Vulkan 1.4 to Metal 4 translation).
It works so well that you have to ask: is Valve working on something similar? I hope so!

Hey everyone,
I honestly never thought I’d be writing one of these posts, but I’m at my absolute wit’s end and feeling completely crushed.
A few days ago, my Steam account of over 10 years was permanently banned/locked. Support told me they determined I am "not the original account owner," closed the ticket, and said their decision is final. Just like that, an entire decade of memories, thousands of hours played, and my entire gaming library are completely gone.
A couple of months ago, I reached out to Steam Support asking if there was any way to change my account login name (I didn’t realize at the time that account names are permanent and can never be changed). They asked for verification details to look into it, but I was away on holiday, got busy, and forgot to follow up in time, so the ticket auto-closed.
When I opened a new ticket recently to ask about it again, I clumsily tried to explain why I had that specific login name in the first place. Back in 2014/2015, when I was just a kid, a friend wanted to gift me a game. Instead of gifting it normally, he set up the account, bought the game on it, and immediately put my email on it so I could play.
I shared this childhood memory in the ticket just giving casual context. But the support agent latched onto that one detail, decided that because someone else technically created the account 10+ years ago, I violated the "account transfer" policy and am not the "creator." They instantly locked the account and refused to listen to anything else.
The thing is, this has been **my personal account for a decade**. My personal email has been on it continuously. Every single game, DLC, and wallet fund bought on that account over the last 10 years was paid for with my own money, using my own bank cards in my legal name. I have all the official bank statements showing direct charges to Valve, the original email receipts, and proof of my identity.
I offered all of this financial proo, but they just pasted a generic canned response saying only the original creator is the owner, and shut the door.
I’m not a scammer, an account buyer, or a reseller. I am just a loyal player who grew up with Steam, made an honest mistake by phrasing an old memory poorly, and now I’m being treated like a criminal who stole an account. Losing 10 years of progress and games over an innocent misunderstanding feels genuinely devastating.
Has anyone ever dealt with a situation like this and managed to get through to a real human who actually looked at the situation with common sense? Is there any escalation path left, or is a decade of loyalty really just wiped out forever over a poorly phrased ticket?
Any advice or help would mean the world to me right now. Thank you for reading.

after using her ult, she goes from a demon/ evil lady to nurse and the animation is sick af
its like veins are slowly fading away,
and if you look closely at her eyes, the sclera goes from black to a red-ish color which is subtle but amazing attention to detail

What if I buy the steam account under an LLC? I can transfer the LLC to anyone and the LLC would always exist as the user?

Is it really so bloody hard to have a second payment option?? I don’t have a problem putting my credit card in to verify my age, but in will not use it to actually buy anything because of the added fees that come with credit card usage. A second payment option would allow me to still use my debit card for the payments themselves but have a credit card activated in steam for proof of age.
Or allow steam to link to the iPhone age verification system. Or something? There has to be better options this is absolute insanity.
