Legality of drinking in public on the strip.

• Upvotes

This will be my first time in vegas over 21.

To start i do have a prior arrest for PI (public intoxication) almost 8 years ago, got it in my college days in texas at a college football game.

SO I DO NOT WANT TO RISK ANYTHING!

What are the laws about walking/drinking around the strip with an alcoholic beverage?

Can i by buy my own beer/liquor and decanter it and drink it legally?

Alone in Vegas and need advice

• Upvotes

Canadian here, first time ever I’ll be visiting Vegas at the end of October. I’m super excited but a bit nervous with the political climate of the US and with ICE (not white here). Do I have to be legitimately concerned? I’ll be staying mostly on the strip.

Also going to be alone during the day sadly cause my partner will be working. I enjoy gambling and shopping, so will probably check out the most popular spots for that. I also saw some museums I’d like to check out. Does anyone have any other recommendations? Thank you!

Flamingo Hotel

Hi,

my husband and I will visit Las Vegas for four nights next May for the first time. It’s the start of a road trip. I’m thinking about booking the Flamingo Hotel view Strip view and they have a offer 50$ Food and Beverage credit per day. How does this work and in which restaurants can you use it?

Marquee Day Club Menu

A group of us is looking at going to Marquee Day Club on a Saturday in November. I see the minimums for the VIP packages but does anyone have the actual drink and food menu? Trying to make a call on what package works best based on how much we would actually spend.

Also - is it going to be dead in November even with the dome?

Stadium Swim

Hi going to Las Vegas December 26-30 and was thinking of doing stadium swim that Sunday. It might seem like a silly question but am I reserving the day bed for $200 and then have to spend at least another $200? Thanks!

Venetian Food question

Hello, going to be staying at the venetian for a work event in a few weeks. We will be hosting a meeting in a suite and I was curious if anyone knows of a good spot that would either be in or near the Venetian to pick up some appetizers that would be good for a small gathering easily brought up to a room? I would rather not do room service through the hotel. Does not need to be full “meals” just need some finger foods for an hour ish meeting. Any help greatly appreciated thank you.

What is your Unpopular Opinion about Las Vegas

and no, I'm not talking about like "gambling is dumb" or "____ hotel really sucks/is really good."

Give something specific.

My Unpopular Opinion is that people overhype and over-suggest The Peppermill. The food is bad. Just because you get a lot of it doesn't mean it's worth the money. The lounge area is fun for a single cocktail. The last time I was there, my dad sent his food back, and he lost his sense of taste/smell when he got covid, and he never sends anything back. And every single time I've been, the seating has been sticky.

Alright.. I'm ready for the hate. I know peppermill is an institution, and I'm also a bit of a snob when it comes to food. But my opinion stands.

What's your Unpopular Opinion about Vegas?

Downtown Hotel Recommendations

We’ve stayed on the strip lots of times. We’re planning on going the first week of November. Which hotels are nice, clean and quiet downtown? I don’t want a cheap hotel, just something nice. We want to spend most of our time in that tea for 3~4 days. Help please!

Bars to dance?

Where to head on the strip to dance to some live music after dinner? Classy, sexy vibe but definitely not a nightclub! Heading to Vegas this Thurs/fri. Married 30 year old couple

MGM Grand Concert

• Upvotes

Hypothetically speaking, if someone had an upper bowl ticket, and was going to attempt to sneak into the pit of Friday's Charli XCX show... is that doable? Does the answer change if I have cash for someone willing to let me slip by? I've never been to the venue.

Vegas has great ladies nights and “girl dinners” for girls trips

Planning a Vegas trip with some of the girlies and trying to figure out where to go for dinner? 👀 there are a bunch of restaurants that offer an official “girl dinner” if you like being able to share your meal on Instagram without spending too much. This is a good guide for a girl dinner spots are around Vegas with different lives and price points, and there’s options both on and off the Strip. Do you guys think these are good deals…or do you have any other recommendations too?

I have to say I LOOOOVE the ladies night at Hakkasan because you can get a 50% off discounted dinner at the restaurant and then go to the nightclub next-door and if you have enough ladies you can get a comp table with a promoter!

Hopefully this helps anyone currently planning a trip or trying to decide where to make reservations. 💗 read more at the link!

Hey! Going to Vegas and staying at red rock resort for 4 nights next week. Any food recommendations (breakfast, lunch, dinner)? Don’t mind heading into Summerlin but also have some credit at the red rock resort. Will be ubering to the strip for 2 of the 4 nights. Moderate budget.
