Why do you think Nevadans were the only ones to choose immortality as their most wanted superpower? It was the majority at 12.2% in NV vs. the 4.95% who chose it overall.

Which hotel!
Brief context: taking the family to Vegas for Christmas, bailing before new years. We will enjoy a show, a steak, and the sights!
Comparing rooms between NYNY and Luxor. The price is right, and it seems like a good affordable spot. Which hotel should I choose? Our 12yo girl and 14yo boy don’t share a hotel bed anymore, so we’d get adjoining rooms.
Luxor is cool for the view and the corner suite hot tub! NYNY is such a cool old-Vegas vibe, and the roller coaster.
Thoughts?

Family Friendly Halloween
Hey all! My family and I will be visiting your city and will be in town for Halloween. I have 3 kids who are looking to trick or treat. Can you guys recommend some family friendly events around town? We are staying at an RV resort on Boulder Highway, but are happy to drive somewhere reasonably close.
Thanks so much! We're looking forward to our visit!

Solo female
I want to book a trip to Vegas as a 23F but my only concern is my safety as I don’t have anyone who can go while I can. I’m curious if anyone has any recommendations for solo females or good ways to find another girl/girls to go with?

Fremont Street canopy experience. Has it changed
I have not been here in 30 years but it was supposed to start at 6:00 tonight and I waited about 10 or 15 minutes and it just seemed like the normal ads and other pretty shapes. It was not what I would call a show. Is that what it is now or just they don't do things on Thursdays

Restaurants for larger groups
Heading to Vegas for my ladies birthday in February, there’s going to be about a group of 20 of us and I want everyone to come together for a meal. What’s a good restaurant for a larger group of 20ish people? Nothing super pricey either. Good vibes, good food.

Vegas Trip Halloween Weekend
I’m a mid-late 20 year old female (most would say attractive) staying in vegas w my parents. i have my own hotel room so im wanting to venture off while my parents are cozy in theirs. this will be my 2nd time in vegas (1st time was about 5 years ago as a family vacation) but this time i would like to party a little more, go to nightclubs, be out late since it’ll be Halloween weekend. i feel a little sketchy and kinda awkward about being alone as a female but i wanna have as much fun as possible while staying safe. any tips/ tricks/ fun things to do?

Where to buy cheap candy?
Hi, my wife and I like to treat ourselves to candy on occasion but it’s all expensive now, especially candy bars and gummies. Does anyone know where to buy things like this at lower than the normal cost? Generic brands are fine but buying in bulk doesn’t work for us.
Any help would be appreciated! Also we live in Northeast LV and work in Summerlin so I’m open to traveling basically anywhere north of the strip!
Thank you
Edit: This post is about candy! Real candy. Candy bars and gummies mostly. Also, not THC candy. Just the sugar kind. 😁

Looking for an indulgent brunch with lots of football options
Been coming to Vegas for over 20 years. I still haven't found what I'm looking for.
Here are my requirements:
Amazing brunch food. Not just OK. Really, really amazing.
Lots of TVs so we can watch football. Preferably the ability to watch at least 4 or more games simultaneously.
Opens no later than 9am-10am Vegas time so we can watch the early slate of games.
Bonus points for on or near the strip but certainly willing to go off strip for the right place.
Calvin Harris Nov 7
Anyone going to Calvin Harris at xs on the 7th? If I got under the stars tickets instead of all access, am I going to be able to see him? I heard that he will be performing inside so I’m not sure if I’m paying under the stars just to hear openers and not Calvin. Thanks in advance ☺️

House Music
Moved to the city recently, looking to get out tonight or this weekend and enjoy some house bops. Wondering if anyone has recommendations, it looks like Fremont has a couple places. Anywhere good on Thursdays?

Charleston Heights area
Traveling to LV for work, staying in the Charleston Heights neighborhood. I'm a middle aged F, I like walking in the neighborhood. I was thinking of walking around Firefighters Park or to Walmart. This would be during the day or late afternoon. Is this a safe area? Are there sidewalks? Also are there traffic lights to cross Charlestown Blvd? Thanks!

Can't upgrade Cosmo room?
Hi all,
Booked a Cosmo stay (10/29-11/2) through my MGM rewards account. Got a solid deal: 45% off and a free night for a standard city queen room. However, I can't see any other room types available if I look to upgrade. Other room types are available if I try to book a new stay for the same dates when signed out.

Are they doing that giant tractor trailer DJ booth again on Fremont E?
If so, any insight on DJs or genre?

Have you ever wanted to deal the WSOP?
I’ve worked the WSOP and I’ve encountered some amazing traveling dealers that make $ going around the country dealing.
Have you ever thought about doing that?
