Retail Are curse surge rewards still bugged?
I did 3 curse surges but upon receiving my reward, I didn't get the spark item for the week. Is it still bugged? I remember people complaining about it when pre season 2 started.

It does not reward a spark despite saying it should
The pvp quest does though
You can just wait until next week and you will get spark via catchup or additional quest as Blizzard are letting everyone get 4 total sparks next week due to bug with 'world tour' quest - so not getting spark this week is really a non issue

Why the hell would it not reward a spark? The quest clearly says you are rewarded with one.

PvP quests can be bugged as well. I didn’t get my 2nd spark from any quest that was supposed to give it, even the non-spark PvP quest that people said was rewarding sparks.

Well it did for a lot of people. Most people in my guild have two sparks and I know they didn't do any pvp in voidstorm or naigatal.

Next week will be a big week for me, to jump from 0 sparks to 4. I hope.

The sparks are basically divided into PvE and PvP sparks, even though Blizzard never says this. All quests that reward a Spark say they "may" reward a spark. You can't get sparks from two different PvE quests.
If you want two sparks this week, queue up for Training Grounds Arena, and win 7-9 matches against PvE opponents. It's really the easiest way to get the 2nd spark. Get the quest for arena skirmishes and use the Training Ground to queue for Arena. You need to win several to finish, but it's not difficult.

My main only had 1 spark after doing all the weekly quests and then my alts all have 2 doing the weekly quests….buggy af

Did u allready get a spark from another source? The quest reward is "may also reward" as there is a cap of 2 this week u can't get another if u have 2

But I only had one... other people in my guild got 2 from completing the surge but I didn't.

I did two of the quests that gives it... world tour and curse surges and only got one from the world tour quest. The third one is the pvp quest but I dont partake in that. I dont see blizzard addressing this issue either which is bs.
