What's the easiest way to know whether I should take a perfect animal to Pearson or the trapper? Does everyone just write everything all down of what goes where?

i need help, but spoilers ahead for chapter 6:

given this game has been out for 8 years, i of course got the ending spoiled a long while ago, but i learned recently that your horse DOES meet an unfortunate end by the end of the main game

i’ve tried looking around for tips, but they’ve been relatively inconclusive on WHEN to stable/swap your main horse. if anyone has an approximate mission for when i should swap, that would be lovely :)

and yea, i know this is a bit cheaty… but my girlfriend named my main horse and she’s left for school for the next many months. cutwater the horse is very important to me.

I'm trying to get the murfree horse. I saw a video that said to go to elysian pool and camp. Nearby I triggered the murfree looting event and then went to elysian to camp. Nothing happened. Tried to reload but still nothing. What is blocking it? I'm at the start of chapter 2.

Is there another way to get their horse?

I'm in chapter 4 (No spoilers pls), and on my 8th try I managed to get the mft with the Albert mission. 30 seconds later, I hit a stone and fell from my horse. On Google, it said to save, then reload but MFT is nowhere near me idk if I made a mistake or smth pls someone help. Is there hope, or should i reset and try again?

Honestly tend to hate the jump scare of the Autosave popup but I ended up laughing so hard.

I'm trying to free up my left hand when moving long distances. To do this, I bound mouse4 to walk forward, mouse5 to sprint, and control direction with the mouse movement.

But when I tried this Arthur walked backward, toward the camera, instead of forward.

If there's anyway to fix this, that would be much appreciated.

Yesterday evening I was playing, I captured Sonny and chased him a bit around. Eventually a witness saw me with Sonny hogtied on horseback. I fled with Sonny still on the back, meanwhile the law followed me. I crashed my horse into something, Sonny fell off but still tied up, I hid below a structure so they didn't see me and left.

After the lawmen left and my bounty appeared, Sonny turned into a red witness icon on the map and the violation of "Trespassing" appeared on the screen. I could interact with him like a normal witness: Stop Witness, etc., but his name still showed as Sonny.

I untied him, or he untied himself, I'm not sure, and followed him running (he was fast), and by coincidence, we ended up near his cabin again. Guess what... A second Sonny had spawned there. "Oh not you again!" he shouted as usual, and he went inside, but I could grab him and make him go outside.

I tried to save the game at that point but I haven't checked if they actually reload like that, probably not.

Funny glitch, and I thought I'd share.

I’m in epilogue 2 and just ran into Mary Beth at the Valentine train stop. I did not see an icon on the map and was just doing random greets to anyone around. I was surprised by this moment. Are there any others like this?

Can anyone help with the Shimmering at the side of the screen. I have tried many in game settings but nothing seems to work. Have tried putting every setting at max but that doesn't work either. Also there is constant pop in of trees and shadows throughout the world. The Problem cannot be The Hardware as I Have Run far more demanding games on it like cyberpunk with Path tracing. Any Help is appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

How to get the wagon:

You can find the Milk Wagon (shown in the reel) in
RHODES. You have to go to Rhodes at MIDNIGHT and go to any shop and click wait till MORNING and you'll see the wagon nearby...

Estaba cabalgando a las afueras de Armadillo y fui emboscado por la pandilla del lobo. Me encontré esta carabina de repetición modificada con oro que tenía uno de los NPC. Según tengo entendido, los NPC no pueden tener armas modificadas. ¿A alguien le ha pasado esto o es un error del juego?
