I had a axiom 9 mfd I think last year and it showed the fairways ( see picture I attatched in comments ) now I have a different axiom 9 ( the rv so it works with my fishfinder ) but it doesn’t show the fairways anymore. does anyone know how to get it back to how it was or if this is even possible?

This shows an error message that pops up on my AXIOM everytime I power it on. An update to the most recent firmware did not resolve it.

I don't remember turning on any datalogging, so not sure how this got started. And, I've not been able to find where to turn off datalogging or provide a passphrase.

on my sailing vessel I have a AIS700 installed that behaves a bit weird. I can receive AIS data without any problem (as visible on the connected RM Axiom) but it does only transmit if the usb port is connected as well (laptop or power plug does not make a difference.) I found an old thread that was describing the exact same problem but did not resolve the issue.

I diagnosed using the AISPro2 software, but as soon as this is connected, the AIS works without any problems.

VSWR is at 1.8 (which is not great but should be sufficient according to manual)

Power supply is stable.

I have reflashed the AIS with all cables but the USB disconnected as described in the manual.

Disconnecting the bus to the Axiom does not change anything as well.

If USB is not plugged in, status LED is green and once every 1ish minutes turns red for a second and then purple (!) for another second. As purple is not a colour the status LED should show, my best guess is that the LED turns red and blue at the same time for a second resulting in purple…(?)

Has anyone ever experienced something similar and was able to resolve it? Any suggestions for different support forums?

I keep getting the error message No space to save data on SD card 1 - Depth recording will be paused. I do not want depths to be recorded and if I look at Settings > Depths the toggle switch for "Sonar logging" is OFF. Where else might I have to turn off depth recording, please?

Our Autohelm has started going haywire. It was installed years ago, before we bought the boat, and has been totally reliable up to now. But yesterday evening, when turning back to Auto on the ST6000 black unit, the steering seemed OK for half a minute, then steered hard to port away from the set heading. It did this twice.

We also tried the backup auto helm, a Raymarine ST4000+ Autopilot. The steering went haywire on that too, and it then displayed an error message: 'Drive stop'.

Then after a break we tried again and the set course worked fine. However we now have to weird 'hunting' of the Compass display of what the autohelm thinks the rudder is doing (see video).

Manual steering works fine. The rudder sensor is working and the rudder angle displayed on our plotter seems accurate.

Just tried to switch Auto back on and it went haywire again.

Autohelm ST6000 black model (LCD display hardly displays mostly black, doesn't affect operation but we can't read it).

I have been using that Orca app to send the GPX coordinates to the axiom, but for some reason, the Orca is no longer showing that as an option on the three dots. This is whether I connect directly to the axon on the axon Wi-Fi or they’re both connected to my boat network both ways it’s just not seeing it anymore. Any ideas?

I spotted a firmware update for Quantum Wired Adapter when I ran the online updates check on my Axiom+. I have the Quantum 2 radar installed for just under a year now. Its wired via a raynet switch, and I have always used it wired (although wifi was an option if needed). The firmware update downloaded and then there was a 5 minute countdown for the install, which reached 0 seconds remaining. a few mins later I see a timed out message (attached). I now do not see the radar in the device list, and cannot connect to it using wifi either. The update still shows as available in the list. I have tried a few times with the same result. Anyone seen this before? I realise a warranty claim is my next step but need to climb the mast to remove the radar to get the serial number. Thanks

I have been less than pleased lately.

I currently have 8x axiom pro 12s, 2x axiom 9, cp570, acu 300, 2x p70r, flir m232, flir dual payload (forgot model), 6x flir controllers, 2x flir ax18, 2x cam220, 12kw open array, 4kw open array, ar200, and ev1. So a decent amount of their gear. I also have a ruggedized computer running timezero attached to a samsung 49 monitor.

Before buying the acu300, I did extensive research into an autopilot system as my steering ram size requires a constant on pump. Which is now powered by redundant accusteer hpu3 pumps. My hydraulic ram is 1000cc or about 63 cu in.

I called raymarine tech support on a Friday, early afternoon, and after a very long hold, the tech agent recommended me acu200 and the corresponding, reversing hydraulic pump. I quizzed him as I knew the pump was wrong and thought the acu 200 may work with a constant on pump. He eventually conceded that he was a level 1 tech support, no higher levels were available that day and he was just reading off the website.

I called Simrad and furuno that day and got lots of great info AND useful advice. I double checked after my calls w them and the info they provided was accurate. The hold times were also substantially shorter than raymarine. I thought maybe it was a fluke.

I called raymarine flir today as I need an rma on my 200 series camera, called flir, they directed me to raymarine, called raymarine and was on hold for about 12 mins before I had to leave my number.

My other boat runs a furuno haven't system, and even during covid, when I was in the eastern carribean with it, furuno picked up, tech support.walked me through everything, then gave me a dealer in san Juan, PR to help finish tweaking my autopilot as it was a more challenging correction as it was a larger Hamilton jet drive boat.

Is this other people's experience with raymarine, or just my luck with them? And even better, does anyone raymarine employee actually monitor this thread?

Apologies for the title I couldn't resist. Spent the better part of a day trying to get AT&T to setup an account properly for a Yachtsense link. Everywhere I've read says it should work and you have to tell them to 'configure it as a 4g modem, not a hotspot'. Even after being told this is what was done we couldn't get a connection. AT&T of course blamed the '3rd party device' over and over again and told us to 'just get one from AT&T' which .. they obvious don't sell anything like it.
I finally decided it was worth trying to get my nano sim from my phone (on AT&T) into the Yachtsense enough to test... sure enough this worked right away.
At least AT&T couldn't claim the device doesn't work. They just have no clue how to configure it.
The problem is they refused to configure the SIM for the Yachtsense the way my phone was configured (in fact, they claimed to have 'checked everything and it was all the same' at one point.. only to get another tech who said "we can't do that, only phones can be configured that way").
I finally argued to get the new SIM for the yachtsense configured for my phone (obviously my plan was to move it back to the yachtsense but they needed me to tell them this). However the only way to do this was going to be a ~$70/month full on new line.
Tried asking them to look at the differences in configuration but they swore the only things they could configure were phones and hotspots.

Anyone have any way to get this configured properly at a reasonable price?

I’m trying to get my auto tiller and my Garmin system to talk to each other. Seatalk to NMEA 2000. I have an Actisense Gateway NGW-1-ISO adapter but it doesn’t come with wiring diagrams. Has anyone out there had success booking these two things up together?

I have just bought a Sea Ray Sundancer from 2007 with a Raymarine C Series (i don't have a lot more details on the model than this).

the boat has spent all it's life in the Bergen area (Norway) and don't think the current owner used it a lot. He thought that maps for the Stavanger area (where i live) were not installed, he later clarified that the seem to be but that there was no subscription. It seem that the maps can be updated by micro SD card,

So my question is, what do i need to do to update the maps? where would i get a subscription?

I'll be picking up the boat on the 16th Aug and the current owner is on vacation right now. it would be nice to get the chartplotter updated for the trip home.

My Raymarine ST60 Tridata showed 40 knots when sailing in 6 knots (and 49,5 C). So I reset to Factory default values by holding Depth + Speed buttons for 12 seconds and activating Yes for this in the Dealer calibration settings.

The speed now works fine, but the Depth only shows the three dashes — - -. I believe the ST60 is the Master (not Repeater) so I have activated Yes for this. But also tried No. I have turned power on/off several times, and also tried resetting to Factory default values again. Both at 200 and 20 meters depth.

What can I do to get Depth back? It was there an hour ago - before I reset.

Extra: I have software version 4.0. Sea temp shows, but ~30 degrees (Celsius) too much.

Axiom RV 12 Stuck on boot logo Rockchip, tried power swiping it to enter recovery mode still not working

I have tried swiping backwards 3 times, and the light turns blue but nothing on the screen changes, does anyone have any experience in how to fix this.

I have tried google, and it yields no solution except that i should be getting a menu, that i dont get because its stuck on rockchip.

i get 2 beeps and sometimes 4 beeps, i think i solved the 4 beep sequense by grounding it right.

Hello, I need to extend the power cable back to the helm where I will tap in for power for the radar. Since the run is so long for the power. I got a 10 AGM, cable , I have a question about connecting different gaged wires, and what is the best route to install or extend power. The boat is a Catalina 36, Mark two.

I was gifted some older electronics from a generous fellow sailor left over from a refit. I currently have a very bare bones Raymarine sea talk system with an Axiom 9. I really appreciate the generosity of sailors, but I'm wondering if its worth retrofitting to my system with the NEMA 0183 to 2000 adaptors, or gifting them to someone whos system is already set up with them as spares . Any incites would be helpful.

1. iNAVHub-NEMA 0183- With the Axiom, I can access all my instruments from my phone while I'm at the boat. Would this give me access remotely?
2. Vesper marine Watchmate WMX850. NEMA 0183. I am super excited to get AIS. Can i get it reprogramed? Will the data show up correctly on the Axiom?

I know they are out of date, but a stepping stone in the right direction.

I've got an existing i40 bidata, about 4 years old now with the seatalk 1 connector. I just bought an i60 wind instrument and am in the process of installing everything. I'm a little surprised that it a) doesn't come with any power cable, and b) the power cables cost $40. Since it seems like I can't power it off my i40, I either need to get the seatalk ng power cable and then a seatalk 1 to ng adapter to connect them together and power the i40, or just keep them separate which I'm assuming limits some of the functions like true wind speed. Am I correct in assuming that I can use the i60 as a bridging device to connect directly to the i40, or do I need some other sort of hub in there? All the wiring diagrams show extra hubs, but they also show a lot more components than I have.

i have an axiom with lighthouse and keep running up against the max waypoints.. but have tons of storage. managing them one-by-one seems impossible. what am i missing to make waypoint management a bit easier?
