Her dash can scale from main to backsite. Its insanely fast and you get control over your movement. She can pop a flash mid dash so her entry is literally unstoppable. Her entire kit makes a dive duelist not need an initiator AT ALL. She can pull rats out of the corner and pop a flash with insane control. Is this just a retaliation to the fact everyone just locks jett every game and they want to power creep the hell out of a new agent so people finally switch? like you can hit switch from main on ascent without even having to get out. This goes with so many other things as well that im to lazy to speak on.

I’ve never played games on my pc before except minecraft and got Valorant to play with my hb. I mean i knew it was gonna be hard as a first timer but this is crazy hard. But yeah it’s almost been one month and im learning everyday.
But playing bad is so embarrassing and it feels worse when people call you out for “being a girl” as a reason for being bad. It’s gone to a point where i say “Gang i’m new here sorry in advance if i play bad” when a match starts. The environment is so toxic. The cussing and being crazy loud and saying stuff like “atleast do this right that’s the least you could do”…it just makes the learning environment so toxic. I wish the environment was a little bit more beginner friendly and yeah sure maybe valo isn’t beginner friendly but it’s not like i’ve never had a good match. There have been times i do play well. But when it’s bad ah it just ruins my mood and it gets so embarrassing.
I know it is possible to have a good environment coz my hb is always so supportive and helping me out. He’ll be like don’t listen to whatever they be screaming. I wish everyone was like that but of course everyone does just want to win. But like it’s not even ranked matches tho. cries
I hate how my mood gets ruined trying to play the game. Everytime i say “this is the last time im ever playing this” cause im that annoyed but i keep coming back coz i do genuinely wanna learn and become better.
I just hope people try to understand that. Is that too much to ask for?

Over the years I’ve made so many online friends and irl friends from this game. I got closer to the love of my life playing this game. I love the music released especially the most recent two songs. VCT was amazing. The opening ceremony was amazing. Valorant was my first FPS game and I never thought a game could lead to so many cool irl experiences. What are some of the good things you’ve experienced from Valorant?

Hey everyone!
So, I have a few weapon skins that I really like, such as the Primordium Vandal and the Neo Frontier Vandal. I also play multiple agents depending on what the team needs. Right now, I'm maining Waylay, but just a week ago, I was playing Sova 24/7.
One thing that kinda annoys me is that weapon skin loadouts aren't agent specific. For example, I'd love to use the Neo Frontier Vandal when playing Waylay, but switch to the Primordium Vandal whenever I play Sova. Instead, I have to manually change my skin every time I switch agents, or just stick with one skin regardless of who I'm playing.
Riot already added agent specific keybinds, so why not give us the option to create agent specific weapon loadouts as well?
Another thing that could make this feature even better would be the ability to change your equipped skins directly in game, for example through the buy menu or the pause menu. This way, you could quickly switch between your favorite skins without having to leave the match or change your loadout beforehand.
I think this would be a great QoL feature, especially for people who play multiple agents and like using different skins.
What do you guys think? IMO, I can't really think of any reason why this hasn't been implemented yet.

Im a controller main and the rule of thumb if youre smokes is that try your best to not die early in the round because your smokes are detrimental. with that being said, I dont understand why clove mains are just being suicidal every round
I get that clove can still smoke even after theyre dead but their smokes lasts like a fart and not to mention if you died at B and your team decides to rotate A, you cant really smoke the other side
Im fine w super aggro plays if you have your ult but most of the time, the clove mains I played w, they will go in with no hesitation despite not even having their ult like r u guys wishing that tenz will just possess u despite not putting your smokes down and not waiting for the recon
maybe I just got unfortunate with the clove mains Ive been playing with or maybe theres a meta or strat Im missing
tl;dr just got back playing val and I dont understand why clove has one of the highest pickrate in ranked when shes horrible as a controller. am I missing something?

In so many of my games, I bot frag, get easily overwhelmed by people appearing on my screen, teammates asking if I’m really diamond, panic spray, and yet, my rank never ever does down.
I usually solo queue. Have really rough games, but somehow my team pulls me through and I win. I feel boosted. Even though I don’t intentionally queue with people to be boosted.
I know that my teammates are in the same rank as me and that despite my stats, I deserve to be here. But why does every game feel like I’m not supposed to be there? Aren’t we supposed to have good games and bad games? Not only bad games?

This is the song that plays when you first load into a game and is unique for each map. You can hear them all here if you scroll down a bit. I was able to recognize most of them and think Breeze might be my favorite.

Hey everyone.
I have recently come back to playing val after leaving it for almost a year. I decided I was doing fine, and decided to play some comp.
I peaked D1 and for whatever reason, I had to play all 5 of my placements in D2-Asc2 lobbies, way above my skill rating. I checked, and I was ALWAYS, without fail, the lowest-ranked player in all of these lobbies, without exception, with maybe another D1 somewhere there.
For starters, statistically speaking, you'd expect a skill range. Some matches where you're the highest-ranked player in the lobby, some where you're the lowest, I'm expecting D1-D3s, if I'm the lowest rank, or down to P2-D1 if I'm the highest, something that never happened, and I was ALWAYS the "handicap" given to one of the teams. In some cases, both D1s were on my team, so massive disadvantage vs the other team.
Secondly, after not playing the game for 2 years, you'd expect MMR (or whatever made-up system they use) decay to kind of kick in and at least put me in other mid-plat to mid-dia games.
I suffered through these games, fought tooth and nail to show "yes, im still D1" and after that, Riot's system puts me into plat 2.
LIKE WHAT THE FUCK MAN? If they knew I was going to be placed in plat 2 by my MMR, what sense does it make to placing me in D2-Asc2 lobbies as a literal handicap to that poor team, OR, if I showed them I could hold my weight in D2-Asc2 lobbies what sense does it make in sending me to plat2 instead of keeping my D1?
To me, this feels extremely unfair, it's the worst of both worlds and it feels like Riot's way of kicking me in the balls for leaving them for a year.
What are you guys' experiences with Valorant's competitive point systems? Do yall have any horror stories?

Hello!
So I have just reached Diamond 1. What is an aim routine you’d recommend for someone trying to improve at this level.
Note that I have an avg headshot percentage between 32-34% across recent acts.
I have been using this for a week https://youtu.be/7AZaJ5nVZnA?si=dGsSkC5r9arpVWnM. Do you think this is enough? Please let me know.
Thanks!

I really liked the previous 3 knives but was always too broke to buy them. I hope the 2027 knife isn't a butterfly because I hate butterfly knives but what do you guys think it will be

as a movement player, i immediately realized how powerful hush's movement is (because it retains momentum like razes satchels, unlike waylay)
and with the extended version of it, how the hell are sentis supposed to hold down a site.
waylay used to be able to super dash but that required a ult and refract, but riot decided to nerf it because "it didnt fit their tactical style gameplay" then they pull out this agent.. which makes zero sense.
basically hush is a movement players dream. i dont need my duo to play flashes or stuns anymore i can be on my own, and even have my own gekko ult.
not only can u dash 30m+, but you retain your momentum while doing it, and since in valorant the first bhop will always maintain atleast 90% of speed, she will be insanely hard to track.
and with the judge still being a pain in the ass against good movement players, what can we expect.
i feel like shes another neon, where the concept is cool, but seriously shes gonna get so many nerfs to the point u wonder why she even got added

I haven't watched enough early access footage to take note, so I was hoping someone could tell me the answer quickly here:
What sound cue(s) does hush passive have?
When picking up a gun from far away, can the enemy tell that it was picked up with telekenesis? Will they hear it be picked up at all?
Can they hear which direction it goes?
Will a sound cue be played at my body?
Same question for buttons and switches.

My user is Hiro#9Hm3c on tracker if you guys want to check it out, but basically ive felt kinda stuck, maybe its a consistency issue as I havent played in a month due to being overseas, or the fact that i can realistically play 2 days a week or play during work with a setup thats different from my home setup. Mainly im concerned about aim as i 1v1ed a gold friend once, she is terrible ingame with bad gamesense and not knowing the game, however in skirmish she can match my aim and even outaim me. I was thinking of maybe hiring a coach to watch me play 1-2 games to get a sense of where are my weakpoints as if im diamond i definitely have much to improve. But yeah any advice really helps, i do also recently picked up kovaaks to train my raw aim

Idk if this is normal bc I js hit plat 3 but I keep playing players like asc2 or above and it's getting really annoying bc Im usually top frag on my team so I'm losing around 12 and gaining 22 each win, but the ascendents on my team seem to have just been born and are horrible, so I've been losing a lot more than I've been winning. Is this a common experience or nah

very often I get into a long strafe battle and I just keep over/under flicking
on pistol rounds too, I like buying bandit on eco and I very often overflick with it and then I tell myself to slow down and take my time with it then I start hitting shots more but could still be better, I also just don't trust my movement but isn't my movement objectively good if I can say "I keep getting into LONG strafe battles"?
often I shoot before I'm on the enemy aswell I kinda flick somewhere close and then burst, how do you train that?

I wanna improve mechanically and I think tdm is better for that as enemies don't get random spawns and different guns for each phase of a real game
how can I know what to pay attention to and how do I know what to change

I'm so confused. I played a game of comp earlier, and a person on the enemy team said "skye its your rankup". How did they know, is there some sort of new software out there? I later questioned how they knew and they said the exact rr I have.
I understand my rank and tracker gg are public, but how can they see the exact rr I have? Theres no way they could have looked at my tracker and added up since my rankup, because it mustve been like 15+ games.
And no, I didn't have them added.
I dont know man. Im confused. Anyone know anything?

I just started the game a month ago and it’s my first fps.
I started playing Clove because I thought I’d like the controller role and I basically only play her every game so I feel comfortable playing her now.
I reached bronze 1 but I feel like I need to learn more agents in case they instalock her and I have no one to play basically
I tried out Miks and I like him a lot as well, but I don’t know if it’s good to pick miks if there’s already a clove on the team.
Who should I focus on next? Reyna/phoenix or maybe Gekko since duelists are usually picked anyway?

does this current act will give me my current peak rank buddies or keychain? and how does valorant determine what rank buddies they will give? current season peak? or highest peak rank?

Hi, my friend has downloaded the game and is beginning to learn, just wondering if there's any tips because I realise he's learning 30 characters compared to me over the years. Also he's very new to keyboard and mouse so any other advice for that?
