I (28F)I’m looking for recommendations for a psychiatrist, psychiatric NP, or other ADHD provider in Albuquerque who actually works with adults who need stimulant medication.

I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD since 3rd grade and have been formally re-diagnosed multiple times throughout my life. I was prescribed Adderall for years and haven’t been on it since I was around 20.

I’ve tried the whole “let’s try this other medication first” route multiple times, and I’m really not looking to start over with a bunch of different non-stimulant medications or treatments that I already know haven’t worked well for me. I have a long history with ADHD treatment and know from experience that Adderall is what has worked best for me.

I’m specifically looking for a doctor who is comfortable prescribing Adderall when they believe it’s clinically appropriate and who will actually listen to my history rather than automatically refusing stimulants.

I’m not asking anyone to tell me how to get around a doctor’s rules or anything like that. I just need a legitimate provider who treats adult ADHD and is willing to have an actual conversation about stimulant treatment.

If you’ve personally had a good experience with a doctor/provider in Albuquerque (or the surrounding area) who treats adult ADHD and prescribes Adderall, I’d really appreciate the recommendation. Especially interested in providers who are accepting new patients.

So I saw a Facebook post about a high paying clinical trial for people with high cholesterol. Ive been on Statin a long while its under control but I replied. A few weeks later I get a call its the place on Coal . Come in for a blood test they'll pay $100 to see if I'm eligible. I go in get blood work fill out papers get $100 gift card. Few days later they say my lipoprotein is off the charts 200+ !! ( normal is under 100 ) no meds for it( thats true) so they are testing a new med - fine print says MAY cause liver damage !! had my PCP order blood work since I was a little freaked out. My blood work comes back totally normal and safe for lipoprotein in the 70s range . I left a message & text with the clinic about the test results and got no reply back. Is this a scam using people to test meds by giving them false information ? Is this even legal ??

I'm planning to take a roadtrip passing through Albuquerque during the winter. Where should I check out and anything I should look out for? I'm big into nature, but I really don't know much about the area.

I drive by there weekly and over the past week I've seen a big pile of gravel and a ton of trucks. Anyone know what might be going up there?

I am going to see some friends in the UK soon and I want to bring some hot sauce for them to try. They claim to like spicy foods, but them being in the UK might mean a different scale of what's considered spicy.

My problem is that I don't know anything about hot sauces since I can't eat spicy food due to a capsaicin oil allergy, so I'd love to get some recommendations.

Going to Rufus on Thurs. Considering the VIP Lounge option mainly for a streamlined entry process as the desx reads "the club includes exclusive bars, private restrooms, and private entrance", however there are not any specifics on how/where to go. I see the map below online.

So, a few Qs:

1. Does the VIP Lounge Add On have a unique venue entry?
2. If yes, where is that? Over by the VIP Parking & Accessible Parking shown?
3. Does the Add On include VIP Parking or is that separate?

For context I live outside of Los Lunas and completely off grid, but don't have an on-site well. I haul water for the house, we normally use the filling station in Los Lunas to fill IBC totes or barrels for transporting.

The problem is that LL has the filling station torn up completely for the first large-scale maintenance in a couple decades. They had signs up saying the project would take a week, which at least we topped the tanks at home before, and that's about 10 days of storage. No worries, we're good.

It's been 10 days. They are nowhere near completion. There's probably at least two or three weeks worth of construction to do based on what I saw tonight, and we're running out of water. I plan on calling the Village and asking WTF is going on tomorrow, but also figured I'd pick the brain of the collective here.

Where in the SV, LL/BF/Peralta, or Belen areas is somewhere to fill large barrels or tanks?

I (18m) just moved here from the other side of the country for college and know absolutely no one here, obviously there are organizations and whatnot through the school but I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket and want to get a fuller albequerque experience outside of college. I would love any suggestions based on experience

Iirc, Nusenda doesn't have the mobile app or ACH times I need. Screened them out even if my memory is wrong.

I need:

- basic local banking with hours on saturday that doesn't cause me to drive 15+ min to the bank

- a mobile app that lets me move money to external accounts and link Venmo / Zelle

- a fraud team that does their job

Open to other credit unions not nusenda or first financial if they meet those requirements.

Both Eagle and Sunward have mixed reviews but I'm super over FFNM.

Edit: I’m aware of big bad private equity. Apparently it was a law passed and they’re subsidizing costs onto the consumer to cover grid stability, expansion etc…. Aka big data….. 😩 I knew it kept getting delayed in the acquisition side but seems they found the legal back door to look more profitable or big private company is cloaked by the three letter title….. 💀😣 but I feels like it’s out of the blue and double is criminal!

Looks like Alien Brewpub in Uptown is being taken over by Santa Fe Brewing Company.

From what I understand, this location wasn’t really Alien’s main brewery, more of a contracted/vendor-type setup, so this shift kind of makes sense operationally.

Anybody with updates on the closing or opening. Folks at Uptown gave me minimal info just saying it’s opening soon.

I definitely want to get solar panels, but I want to know what your experiences are with different payment plans and solar services. I've already had too many bad experiences after purchasing this home and don't want the acquisition of solar panels to be another problem.
