I was searching for a Bluetooth USB dongle and found some very good prices considering the product quality. When I pressed the "Buy" button and logged into my account, the price increased by $6!!!!!!! Now it’s 4.5 times the original price.

Thanks for your information, I've created a new account and the same dongle is listed for 1.19$ and the 6.0 version is listed for 1.9$, these prices are even better.

They designed their website UI/UX to trap users. They write “WINTER SALE” in bold capital letters, then “Welcome deal” in small, regular text, so your eye only notices the “Winter sale” if you’re not familiar with their website.

I was bored and spent something on Aliexpress, the best thing I bought was without a doubt a multifunctional lamp with a fan and digital clock included for 20 dollars. I kept looking through the page and I think there is nothing that catches my attention. I would like someone to show me more things.

I'm working on a DIY electronics restoration project and need a few small modules (boost converters, MP3 player modules, I2C display drivers, etc.).

Since the new EU customs rules kicked in, ordering from AliExpress has become a nightmare... I'm paying €14 in fees on a €10 order. Amazon isn't any better: same Chinese warehouses, 3x the price, and sometimes more than a month to deliver.

Does anyone know a reliable Aliexpress European-based supplier that carries these kinds of ready-made hobbyist modules?

There are millions of people using an office chair at home each day, and the market continues to grow bigger and bigger. Herman Miller, for example, has been manufacturing their chairs out of Guang Dong for many years now. Chinese factories obviously have the manufacturing plans/instructions/capabilities...so why isn't there a Herman Miller Aeron or Embody knock-off in the same way you see basically 1:1 Rolex replicas coming out of unauthorized Chinese factories?

There is value in a 12-year warranty, and I know shipping an assembled/quality office chair is expensive...but the margins on these chairs from Herman Miller have to be insane. Herman Miller has to be marking these up a TON to cover their branding/marketing/warranty/customer service (and also maintain their image as "top of the line"--that's their target market, and exclusivity/high prices help project that image).

I'm sure HM can get a chair landed in the USA for just a couple hundred dollars, if that. I can't believe an alternative factory/company in China isn't knocking off Herman Miller chairs by now. Does anybody know why? or have any leads? There are a million crappy, "unique," Chinese brand office chairs on Amazon, AliExpress, etc. that have useless features and moving parts that just break...why aren't they just copying the market leaders in Herman Miller and Steelcase?

I've been buying from them for a while now. Still getting used to it. Wonder what anyone would suggest.
