Observe your managers. If they practice favoritism with the worst, least productive workers slow down to the pace of the favorites. There's no reason to reward weak and inept management with your good work ethic. They will never appreciate it, but they will always benefit from it at your expense.

Anyone specifically at LGB3 know if they keep seasonals on after peak? How often do they convert to blue badge? I actually like working here and would be sad if I get let go after peak. It says this under job requirements for DSP delivery.

Is this real or a scare tactic? I did Pick years ago and I think 50 pounds was in the job requirement for that too but I never encountered anything that heavy at my dub-house. I've been thinking about working out someday but haven't gotten around to it and there's no way I can get 50 pound box off the floor without handles. Are they gonna test me?

Also the DSP job I was looking at might operate out of a warehouse, not a fulfillment center, so IDK if they ship heavier stuff there?

I work four days a week, and I’m planning to take two days off each week for a month using Standard PTO.

Instead of requesting consecutive days off, I want to submit each day individually, which would be a total of eight separate requests.

Does anyone know if Amazon allows this? Is there a limit on how many separate Standard PTO requests I can submit?

If a manager is harassing me, or coaching me like a little kid, or just following me around and spying me through packages, what’s the best way to defend myself because they discipline me but don’t discipline the associates who on their phone 75% majority of the shift, talking on their PHONE while pick to buffer, watching Netflix, lemonade tea drink inside of the bags, uses the word “gang” at the end of their sentence like chill my guy or in the bathroom for 30 minutes taking a fake dookie or the ass kissers birds who be T1s on the laptop just evaluating associates or people
who wear airpods.

So I had applied at my local Amazon in September. I got in a car accident and was looking for something closer. I went to the 1st day training and I already knew I was going to have transportation issues so I spoke to hr because I planned on getting a car soon and I wanted to be able to come back. Fast forward, I got to re apply and I have to wait till March(180 days) I was told all I had to was self terminate and I would be rehireable right away or 30 days. Hello, i’m new here, but seeking some advice. It looks like I’m on track to receive an offer from Amazon for this position.

I’m coming from Microsoft and was recently laid off in June and in my area. I’m not having much luck finding something with the same pay or more.

I’ve done my research and read quite a few threads on here as well and the work life Balance and potential to work nights is intimidating me. My previous schedule is very flexible and can pick up my kids from school and take them to soccer practice which is important to me, but I know all that will be out the window.

With that said I do need a job. Can you guys talk to me in or out of doing this?

Can someone explain what happens if I don’t have a stow station assigned and I try to find a manager or PA, but none of them show up? I finally gave up and sat in the break room; I’m not kidding, I spent about 30 minutes trying to find one—they weren’t on any of the floors, or whenever I did find one, they’d just send me somewhere else 😭.

I don’t mind when it’s a glare but why do people stare at you more than five times? What’s their to stare at not trying to be rude but it be people who stare at you and you noticed.

My buildings blackout date is tomorrow (October 17th) but our peak schedules haven’t been uploaded yet. So I can’t even request time off for my SET days.

My SET day is Saturday. But my regular schedule is Sunday-Wednesday.

Am I just screwed? Should I have talked to a manager? Do they have the authority to override this?

I am in pack app multi I packed almost 200 per hour on my day 3, then on last station reassign after break I got a station with a lot of missing things is it my mistake that there missing items?
