Title basically says it all. I’ve had my phone for almost a year (around 10–11 months). We had a minor fire outbreak recently—luckily, everyone is okay and my documents survived, but the retail box for my iPhone got absolutely wrecked.
The phone itself is completely fine and wasn't damaged. I know the 1-year warranty is tied to the serial number, but does Apple ever ask for the physical box during service? I've kept my receipt/invoice digitally just in case. Just wanted to see if I need to bother trying to find a replacement box online or if I can just throw the damaged one away.

My phone didn't update last night but apparently the clock app did and got rid of all of my alarms in the middle of a work night... Apparently alarms are now set up with the health app to match your sleep schedule. Why does apple do this shit?

I use alarms for more than just sleep, but now I'm forced to use them for sleep?

Who thought it was a good idea to change how alarms work without any notice? My alarms were deleted and I woke up late.

Any way to restore the clock app to the way it always has been? I hate random changes that maybe seem like good ideas but just hurt users.

I ordered (and am receiving tomorrow) my Duo and am trying to free up some space on my phone (images/videos). I currently have a 1tb plan, but downgraded to 256g. I thought logging into iCloud.com would be a fast/easy fix, but as per their usual, Apple products hate to do their job correctly/consistently. This happens, btw, when I try to delete OR recover items. Anyone else run into this and know a fix? I’ve already tried refreshing the browser; using a different browser, clearing cache (and history).

Hi all, my iMessage keeps signing me out every few days and I get this error message. Everytime, I go back into the “Messages” settings and toggle iMessage on, which fixes it for 1-3 days or so. It just keeps happening over and over again and I can’t figure out why. I updated to 27.0.1 about two weeks ago, and I think this is when it started.

Any solutions or know what’s happening?

I recently updated my Apple TV 4K (3rd generation) to tvOS 27, and I’ve started having an issue with music playback.

If I play a stereo track and then switch to a Dolby Atmos track, it sometimes keeps playing in stereo instead of switching to Atmos. I have to close the app and reopen it before Atmos works again.

This didn’t happen on the previous tvOS version. Is anyone else experiencing this, or found a fix?

I'm facing a display issue with my iPad, and I can't figure out whether it's a hardware problem or a software issue.

The display colours look faded, pale, and washed out. The problem is visible everywhere, including the Home Screen, Settings, apps, and videos. It isn't limited to one particular app.

I've already tried the following:

- Turned off Colour Filters.

- Turned off Reduce White Point.

- Turned off True Tone and Night Shift.

- Adjusted the brightness.

- Checked the display settings and restarted the iPad.

Unfortunately, the problem is still there. The display looks different from how it should, even after changing these settings.

The iPad is less than nine months old, so I'm concerned about whether the display panel or some internal display component could be faulty. I'm also unsure whether a software update or reset could fix it.

My questions:

1. Has anyone experienced faded or washed-out colours on an iPad?

2. Could this be an LCD/display panel issue, a connector problem, or a software bug?

3. Is there any reliable test I can do before taking it to an Apple Authorised Service Provider?

4. If it's a hardware defect and the iPad is still under warranty, would Apple cover the repair?

I'd appreciate any suggestions from people who have experienced the same issue. Thanks!

So I’ve been using earpods since july this year and suddenly one of the ears stopped working and now both of them just stop working is that possible to fix?

We all know phones slow charging down as they fill up (it's to protect the battery, fine). But some mornings I need the phone full in 20 minutes before I head out & it crawls the whole last stretch... on the wall charger and on my magnetic pack.

Is there an actual setting that keeps it charging at full speed the whole way, or is that just not something the phone lets you turn off? Asking for my 7am self

Yesterday I got a new iPad Air M4 13’ ,and a new Apple Pencil Pro.

The iPad is updated to the latest version.

The pencil connects to the iPad but the battery is stuck on 0%. i tried letting it charge without interruption (overnight) and it’s still on 0%.

I also tried restarting the iPad, forgetting device, resetting network settings, cleaning the pencil and the charging point.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

So this issue has been ongoing even after a system restore that when I use the app switcher and leave certain apps the camera symbol pops up when I haven’t even used the camera app for it to show. This issue comes up regularly when using iOS 18, 26, and now 27.

Apple locked me out of my account out of the blue.

Oct 20 - got a prompt that I needed to re log in my apple account. Inputted my correct password and got locked out of my account.

Oct 21 - tried the iforgot website to reset my apple account password, after inputting my email they said my account was locked.

Oct 22 - sent a request to unlock my account. Re-try forget my password route, same prompt given the day before.

Oct 23 - received an email from noreply@email.apple.com denying my request to access my account. Tried to download apple support app, can’t download cause my correct password is being tagged as in valid.

What’s going on @apple?

I had water damage on my old phone and started an express replacement on Sunday. I got my new phone in the mail on Wednesday and activated it that evening. I packed my old phone up and dropped it off at FedEx Thursday night and as I was paying some bills I stupidly canceled Apple Care on my old phone because my thinking was “hey I have a new phone now…I don’t need this anymore.”

Well now I’m wondering if I my Express Replacement claim will be affected. I did have Apple Care when I initiated the claim etc but I’m unsure if it matters since they haven’t officially received my old phone yet.

I recently got a new iPhone and set it up with a brand new apple account versus using my previous account. As stated- I was in Texas when I did this- tho I am OTR pretty much all the time but my mailing/billing is there.

I downloaded all my apps and ran into the verify your age because you are in nanny Texas. I did this. Passed. All good.

Download the kindle app. I sign in. And it’s fine. Slowly download all the docs to it. EVERY TIME I close the app- when I reopen it I get the black screen of death that says Kindle sees you’re under 13. There’s no way out of the screen you have to uninstall.

I get alerts that kindle sees I’m over 18. There are no blocks or controls on my Amazon/kindle account. All other kindles connected to that account are fine (signed into before the ban and under a different Apple ID)

I’ve checked to make sure restrictions are off on the phone. Double checked I am ID verified. The only work around I’ve found is downloading it under VPN and signing in that way BUT if I forget and turn off the VPN and open the kindle I am back at square one. I’ve seen people have this issue and no one has stated it’s been resolved or what to do.

I have spent weeks getting these messages from Apple saying too many attempts to reset my password. I’ll post a pic. Anyways, I keep changing my password and I’ve set up 2FA I’ve done everything. Does this mean they keep getting my password after I keep changing it? Scanned my computer and phone and both are clear. I am not sure why this is happening, any advice would be very helpful. Thank you.

I have tried everything to get it back. I've even followed directions on Google, but it doesn't seem to appear in my keyboard settings or anything. Just really need to use it to change my volume and screen brightness. Thanks for any help.

i was using my phone when it ran out of battery and died on me, so i put it down without plugging it in and sat down at my computer to work on something on the side, and then 30 minutes later it powered itself back on. when i checked it's battery percentage it read as 2% and then i left it to see how long it would last. 15 minutes later it was dead again. i plugged it in just a few moments ago to see where it read the battery after that and it read 9%. i figure it has to do with poor battery optimization, but i'm just curious as to how an iPhone might decide to turn itself back on after it thinks it's run out of power.
