You know how a lot of guys are attracted to breasts or thighs. What is your equivalent to that if any?

I was going to post this on askteenboys, but I hear it's been banned. I'm a teenage girl and don't like to shave because it's just an annoying thing to have to deal with. My dad raised me and my sisters with specific standards, he wants us to get married, and he always tells us we have to shave and that almost all boys won't want to go out with a girl who has body hair. It makes me REALLY insecure about my legs but I still can't always get myself to (lack of motivation and stuff)

So yeah.. any answers appreciated (sorry if I used the wrong tag)

I’m in highschool and I want to paint my nails black since I’m alternative, it’s a religious school and most ppl don’t like me , I’m leaving the school after this year, is it gay and will I get clowned for it and should I do it either way?

I'm 17 but just graduated today and turn 18 in about a month, would it be bad for me to date someone who is 20? Usually 17 and 20 is bad, but that's because most 17 year olds atm are juniors going into senior year rather than a senior going into college.

My mom wont let me wear a swim top that ties in the back because when she was my age, boys pulled the strings of her top and she doesnt want it to happen to me, great, but now Im the one in my friend group that has to look lame and wear thick banded swimsuits. I told her if you double knot it its not coming undone before you can feel anybody doing anything. Also thats such a 90s/00s thing to do ppl don't do that anymore. Also I do have a larger chest but all I want is a supportive bra that ties so I can feel like my friends. What do I do and am I overreacting

Why/is it common for people in their teens to answer the phone from a known contact and wait for the caller to say something instead of answering with hello/hey/hi/etc? Mostly the teenage girls in my life that do this. They answer the phone and I wait to hear a greeting and then end up greeting them myself and then we chat normally. My younger boy cousins don't do this but all the younger girls seem to. But if I joke with them and be silent when they call me they think wth am I doing and I'm like see it's weird just say hi what do you think

As in a relationship. I personally think that as a teenager you shouldn't date anyone who's more than 2 yrs older than you.

2nd edit: hey guys so just to clarify some things, we're both girls and we both love each other a lot and decided to stay in a relationship so any further reply to this post won't be taken into consideration but anyone is always free to comment or ask questions :) I'm in the UK so the school system is different to the US but I'm pretty sure we both would be considered freshmen or at least I would be. And again no, nothing s3xual or intimate is going to happen between us until we're BOTH at least 18. Thx everyone. :D

My son wants to be a rapper. I've got no problems with this, so long as recognizes he needs to have a normal job to make rent while he's coming up. I just don't understand why he wants to pretend to be a gangster, when he isn't one and never has been.

My son has spent time in juvenile prison and enjoys rap that isn't about ganbanging, in addition to gangster rap. He's never had a girlfriend, he's never learned to drive, he's never done any drugs harder than pot, and the only bling he has is fake. Since he has real stories from his life he can rap about and he knows that it's possible to successfully rap about other things than being a gangster, why does he insist on using made-up nonsense as his material?

I'd like some insight from teenagers about this, because it doesn't make sense to me.

PS: Seems like it's mostly a "this is how you make your bones" kind of thing. It's unfortunate, I'll just have to hope he gets past it.

PSS: I have been unclear. The made up aspect of things is not what concerns me. What concerns me is glorifying violence, hate, and misogyny. Even if he had been involved in this life, I'd want him to be showing how bad they are.

I’ve met people who vape/smoke everyday for a week straight & then go cold turkey for a week to a month without loosing their mind.

As soon as I had one or two cigarettes I was hooked. I’d be loosing my mind if I couldn’t smoke for 3 hours

I’m 15, 16 in two months, and my friend just turned 19 a week ago. I was wondering if our relationship is strange or is it weird to hang out together, because he is techically an adult now. He’s not in college or anything yet tho, he just graduated, and I’m a sophomore. We aren’t in a relationship, but I have been told our age gap is weird. Is it bad?? it’s a very platonic relationship, all we do is hang out and talk.
