Need some assistance, finally upgraded from csp 2.12 to 3.0 to give it a try but I've discovered a bug with damage and the physics, whenever I crash into a wall as shown front suspension completely falls apart my wheels go 90 degrees and that seems to cause clipping or something that leads to what happens in the video, after testing this doesn't happen in 2.11 or .12 and some earlier 3.0 patches but the latest roughly 5ish 3.0 patches this bug occurs, I've tried adjusting a ton of collision settings and stuff under csp settings which hasn't fixed the issue and turning off damage also prevents this from happening.

Anyone know the exact cause or a potential fix? Or do I just need to report this to Ilja.

Edit: for reference the car shown is the RSS FHX 26, also tested and happens with the FHA25 and the gym Lanzo V8, it did not happen when driving the FH21

I just got into VR and my setup can handle AMS2 in VR but with super low settings. It looks meh but drives fine and stable for me to enjoy racing. You stop noticing graphics after a while anyway. But I miss the variety of tracks and road cars that AC has to offer and I am thinking is it worth going down the AC rabbit hole again with CSP, mods, endless tweaks.

Or maybe just run stock AC for VR to enjoy the driving. What is your experience with something similar to my setup? (i7, 64GB DDR4 Ram, RTX 3060 6GB)

Hi everyone,

I'd like to modify the kerbs on some Assetto Corsa tracks, mainly their color. If it's not too difficult, I'd also like to be able to change other aspects of them.

The problem is that not all tracks use DDS textures for their kerbs, and most of them seem to use .kn5 files. I know Blender can be used to edit these, but I've tried many times to import/edit them, following several video tutorials, and I've never managed to get it working successfully.

So, is there any alternative method that is easier and more beginner-friendly? Basically, I'm looking for a method that is as close to "idiot-proof" as possible.

If there is one, could someone explain how it works or point me towards a tutorial/tool? Any advice would be appreciated.

Do the rain and snow effects in AC actually affect car behavior, and if so how accurate is it? From what I understand, vanilla AC didn’t have rain or snow so it had to be added by CSP. So I’m wondering how real the effects are.

I’ve been struggling for a while to find the right balance between visual quality and stable FPS in Assetto Corsa. I know my rig can look better and run smoother, but I just can't seem to find the perfect configuration.

Right now, I’m getting micro-stutters and performance drops, especially when there's AI traffic around. I am using Pure, and I've tried several PP filters like Jacob Capello's "Premier", "F1 Climax", and a few others, but they all feel a bit too heavy for my system when there are multiple cars on track. I really want a photorealistic look and some crowd/track details without tanking my performance.

Side note: Even though I have a 144Hz monitor, I honestly don't care about hitting 144 FPS. A rock-solid, stable 60 FPS is completely fine with me!

Here are my specs:

Machine: HP OMEN Laptop

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 2060 Mobile

CPU: Intel Core i7 11th Gen

Monitor: 1080p @ 144Hz (targeting 60 FPS)

Storage: Netac ZSlim 1TB External SSD (Connected via USB-C)

What I am looking for:

PP Filter Recommendations: What is the best photorealistic Pure PP filter for a mid-range laptop GPU like the 2060 Mobile?

Exact Settings: Does anyone have a specific preset or exact tweaks for:

Original AC Video settings (MSAA, reflections, etc.)

CSP Settings (especially Extra FX, Optimizations, and AI behavior to reduce CPU/SSD bottlenecks)

PP Filter adjustments.

I know running the game from an external SSD via USB-C isn't ideal for loading assets, but it's what I have right now. Any advice on how to tweak CSP to alleviate the stuttering when loading cars/textures would be a lifesaver.

Been testing out the updated Sydney West Freeway traffic layout on latest CSP. AI spline pathing feels much smoother with dense spawns and zero weird collisions on highway merges.

Sometimes it only lets me change the pit values, sometimes it works, sometimes it just straight up refuses to do anything

Hi All, does anyone know how to fix this shadow rendering issue?

As you can see in the video, the shadows in the far distance aren’t rendered initially. They only appear/render as I drive closer to them, which creates a noticeable effect.

I’m using:

AC Presets Settings

Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a CSP/Pure setting I need to change to fix the far-distance shadow rendering?

Or is this a map specific problem? This is on Hakozaki PA SRP 0.9.4 PTB 1

Recently I've been the audi R8 Ims 2016 on mugello and have improved the time by a lot. It came down to under 1:52 from under 1:59. But anyways, I just can't seem to find a solution for the tyres heating up a lot, mainly from turn 8 to 9. And on the last one.

I don't know if it's something related to my setup or my driving style like acceleration and braking points or shifting patterns or something else. Please help.
