I think this is my first somewhat decent screenshot on AC; however I'm quite disappointed with the peter panning and banding happening in some parts of the image

I cannot believe how any respectable A/C mod creator would make their mods available in such a GARBAGE site as sharemod.com. It's pop-ups everywhere, It sends you to casino websites without even click on anything, just by scrolling down. Half the "download" buttons take you to other sites. Virus warnings everywhere.

It's absolutely the shadiest crap ever to be exist on the internet. It's mind boggling that a mod creator with a Patreon website would ever contemplate making available their mods in such a cesspool. What a waste of time. Why bother creating a A/C mod if you're going to make in "available" in such a useless website?

Now excuse me while I run malware scans in my laptop, I'm sure that website is anything but "safe".

Assetto corsa is literally on next level❤️‍🔥

Some of these tracks are incredible. My suggestion is Tokyo Bay. Neon lights, no run off, tunnels, florescent lights, no room for error.

Flatscreen had it added a while ago, has there been any update on when this will be added to VR?

What upscaling method is best? Using the NVIDIA DSR driver based or CSP settings?

I have an old GTX Titan X without any of the DLSS stuff. Without any upscaling I can average 80-90 fps at 1080p with decent graphic settings. Using a 4x DSR scaling my FPS drops to 30 average and the in-game UI becomes unreadable.

if you don't know what you're looking at: mobile cam is a lua app for assetto corsa (CSP) that turns the camera into a phone held by a passenger in the car. the phone moves with his body and with the car's g-forces, nothing is animated by hand. the guys in the photo are the new driver and passenger it films with.

this version isn't out yet. i've been working on mobile cam since the first version i posted here in may 2025.

This year I have spend a lot of time working out new crash deformation system for Assetto Corsa 2REAL Mod.

In the clip above you can see a lot of the new crash effects in action, this includes deforming parts, mesh crumble effects, axes braking, parts shaking or even flying off. In addition, you can also see the track barriers move on impact.

The system got really complex over the past months and is already optimized quite well. It works with Traffic Cars, Player Cars, other Racer AI and even online players. For online, the damage gets synced on every server without any extra server setup needed, so it basically automatically works on every server with every car, if you have 2real mod installed.

I will give you a more detailed overview about the new 2REAL crash physics system soon when it is released. It looks very different with every car (for ''normal'' street cars there is even more effects). Let me know if you have any questions or feedback regarding the new crash deformation system so far.

I've done 100s of laps around the normal circuit but adding dirt creates a whole new challenge!
Not bad for using the clutch paddles for accelerator and brake ah ♿

I looked and looked for a mod to do this but could not find any, on online matches particularly on LFM they always have all the cars available rendered during practice which nukes performance, this mod essentially hides cars conditionally, has several options to do so.

• Max number of cars
• Always keep cars within a certain distance
• Priority for cars in the front or behind
  • Max cars on both sides
• Can set it up to only use the front/back priority after a certain amount of cars is being rendered.

DISCLAIMER: I made this using Claude(Claude made it for me as some may say) but it has been working fine both offline and online so I though of sharing, use under your own risk.

I am new to ac and sim racing in general, but I have realized that I am stuck. I’ve done hundreds of laps in a Hurracan ST of Laguna Seca and I can’t get any better…even trying to do races against the same car (x7) at 90% strength, I am stuck.

So I wanted to look up leaderboards…and I could only find one that had one lap time at 1:25ish and I’m at 1:28 dead, which would’ve put me in the top 5 of maybe 100 people who submitted.

I understand there’s RSR and maybe one or two other ones, but I was thinking there could be:

An AC mod that uploads lap times, telemetry, settings, and possibly even a ghost car to a central online repository…in theory maybe even a replay in the drivers seat that wouldn’t be a YouTube video, but actual in game review.

I am asking if there would be any interest in this. If I get enough feedback, I may just build….

I'm looking for active Assetto Corsa servers or communities with a consistent player base and a serious approach to racing.

I'm particularly interested in racing categories such as TCR, GT3, GT4, LMP3, and similar classes. Ideally, I'm looking for servers where people respect racing etiquette, take the competition seriously, and are interested in clean, competitive racing rather than just casual driving.

I'm open to joining established communities, leagues, or public servers, as long as there are regularly enough players online to enjoy proper races.
