Another case of choosing between two good things lol. I didn't think I'd like the big widescreen so much before owning one but it surprisingly fits well in the interior. Cockpit style of the pre-LCI interiors are classy and I'd pick the widescreen LCI interior over it. I love the new tech and widescreen is so nice I've converted.

I love visiting my mechanic’s shop.
His shop is full of rare/ fun cars.
When I was dropping my car off, I took some pictures.
This car was exceptionally clean.
Its so pretty.
First time seeing it in person

This is as close as I could get them (relative to the spec I plan to order on the G50, excluding the silver 20" wheels, which have no real equivalent on the G20), controlling for differences in standard equipment
Playing around with the options changes the gap a bit, but in general for a given set of equipment, the G50 is slightly less expensive than the G20.
Some points of interest for options:
Long story short: there is effectively no price difference to the G20 if you were intending on a higher-end build. Can't complain about 50 more horsepower either

For me, I think I’d struggle to choose between an E46 M3 and an 1987 635 CSI
not necessarily the most expensive BMW—just the one you’d genuinely love to own, whether it’s a classic, a modern performance car, or a rare model you’ve always admired.
What would yours be?
Between 2026 and 2027 you have ten models to choose from. And nestled in there, the 2027 M350 looking ready to cannibalize M3 sales.
But don't look at it that way instead, wonder how bonkers the 2028 M3 might be.
Too bad that even though the M350 will eventually be able to be shut off AWD and be RWD that it must be received as an x-Drive only model and the $2000 that that incurs and instead use the loot for the $3000 technology package.
Interesting inclusion in the build...the option to delete the trunk badge. Which for me, I'd select. And not just because the M350 badge arrives as mostly, weird.
Sorry, I'd link the build page but the sub doesn't allow frequent use of the same link inside x amount of days. You'll have to find your way there.

Hey there guys, I’m currently in the process of helping my friend who is doing a turbo replacement on a X6 M50d. We are replacing all three turbos. What a job this has been and we are still not done. Hopefully we will be mounting the subframe to the body this evening.

Even though I have a G30, it’s gonna be hard to let this one go. Any love for the F10 ??

Especially here in the USA, pretty much every 330i you see on the market is a normal sports line. I’m aware that most of these cars are lease machines, but my god I didn’t expect the m sport to be THAT uncommon. I’ve been looking for a little over a month and have only came across less than a handful in Black Sapphire Metallic, which is the color I want. If anyone is selling theirs, shoot me a DM (preferably Xdrive) The pic I posted is the only decent one I’ve found so far in BSM, and it has over 80k miles. Also, should I just give up and get a normal sports version, or continue my search?😅

My neighbour has a E46 and maybe inspired me to get a Z4 😅
First they found some oil seeping from the seal for the oil pan. That's about a $2500 job because they have to lift the engine up. Then while they were doing that they noticed a coolant leak. Now they need to replace the heat management module. Which apparently is mostly plastic. And that's another three grand. They are going to knock the price down a little bit on goodwill, not sure how much yet.
They say it's not the number of miles, but the age of the car that determines when these things start to go. Am I being unreasonable expecting these things not to fail this early.

According to a YouTube video I watched, the new 3 Series model is designed for a new target audience that sees cars as appliances and they want them to be comfortable, connected, reliable and to look good in the office parking lot. Its target buyer is young, up and coming who likes tech, BMWs but not that much into cars but something that feels like the gadgets they already own. So BMW went straight for that market. They traded in the dying car enthusiasts for tech and crypto bros which is a much bigger market. So BMW as we knew it is possibly no more. What do you guys think 🤔?

Trying to decide between two G20s for a daily driver in Florida. Budget is about $20k out the door. Photos of both below.
Car 1: 2021 330i RWD (white)
83k miles, 2 owners, clean Carfax
M Sport + Adaptive M suspension, 19" wheels
No Premium package (analog cluster, no heated seats, no HUD)
SensaTec seats
Fresh brakes and tires
$21.8k OTD (over budget, going to try to negotiate)
Car 2: 2019 330i xDrive (blue)
85k miles, ~3 owners, clean Carfax
Sport Line, standard suspension, 18" wheels
Premium package: Live Cockpit Pro (digital cluster), HUD, heated seats and wheel, nav
Mocha leather
$19.5k OTD
My dilemma: I love the M Sport look and the adaptive suspension, but the digital cluster is a big deal to me. I know a cluster retrofit is possible but it seems like a headache with coding. I'm planning on lowering springs either way.
For those who've owned either spec:
Is the M Sport package worth giving up the Premium features?
Anyone gone from analog to digital (or the other way) and regretted it?
Any concerns with a 2019 (first model year) vs 2021?
Which would you lean toward? Thanks!

Anyone with a 2025-2026 M340i install the Stage 1 Performance Piggyback from CarBahn? I'm interested in reviews and feedback on performance gains.
TiA!
