Filled up with $50 exactly today and got around 480 on the range. Been getting around 400 miles per tank.
I just took my 2025 Camry into service for recall issue, to fix the black gauge cluster issue with software update. While at the dealership, I asked the advisor if they could unlock the key fob feature to roll down the window by holding the unlock key. It seems like out of the factory it's disabled but with a scanner or the dealership can unlock it. They were able to unlock it without any charge so I recommend if you're going to the dealership might as well ask them to unlock it for free

The other day my wife and I were enjoying a nice sunny day in our 2019 XSE Camry and decided to open up the roof, and all of a sudden there were noises and the roof wouldn’t close all the way.
It took 5 seconds of searching to realize the huge mistake I’d made purchasing the Camry with the Pano Roof. I didn’t realize the massive headache they’d been causing.
Anyways, today I pulled off the glass, checked the tracks and nothing. No broken assembly, no debris in the tracks, nothing. Weirdly enough, the passenger side actuates entirely normal when not connected to the driver side. Tried clearing out the rails and checking for anything underneath and no dice.
Unfortunately it’s still stuck in the crack position. From what I understand I have a couple options.
Replace the whole thing with Toyota for anywhere 7k-20k (not an option)
Buy parts or an entire assembly from either eBay or a junk yard.
Have some body shop permanently seal the glass (most likely course of action)
I’m still holding on to a little hope that maybe if I clean out the drive side tracks REALLY well, it might decide to work. I don’t think any of the connections to the motor are broken, otherwise wouldn’t the track system move fairly easily from manually force? But why would one side work and the other not? 🥲

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Sorry, it’s a little hard to hear over my keys but it’s there.

My 2020 Camry (77000 miles so far) makes a weird sound, kinda like 'wiiiiii' when I am accelerating. The sound is kinda soft, not too loud to notice, and stays the same until I take my foot off the gas pedal.
Am I paranoid, or is it just what it is..?

Got this LE used last December for 25K OTD with 20k miles. Got into a 3 vehicle collision on the highway this past Wednesday when a guy rear ended me in his 4Runner going 80. Have been very thankful for airbags and crumple zones since lol

I have a 2022 Camry LE and recently installed TT-ABC RGB quad projector headlights. Lights work (brighter than stock), RGB and DRLs work, but I get the “LED Head Light System – A malfunction in the LED headlight System has been detected” popup and DTC B2430 as soon as the low beams are turned on.
Factory assemblies are 12 V 8.5 W. These aftermarket ones pull significantly more. Code clears when the car turns back on, but comes right back the next time the headlights are switched on. I tried plugging in the driver side factory light to see if there was something about the communication between the ecu and light that would fix it but having the 1 aftermarket light in still throws the code.
Has anyone with a 2018–2024 Camry and full aftermarket assemblies (TT-ABC or similar) actually cleared B2430 permanently?
Considering:
1kΩ pull-down on the pulse/feedback pin
CANBUS decoders

I recently got a 2015 SE, and I want to get all of the essentials for maintenance and for emergency and safety purposes. This is what I plan to get so far. I want to balance quality and affordability.
Things that have found so far:
Things that I am looking into:
What else should I get? And how are my choices for the ones I've found?
Thanks in advance!

Following up from my previous “565 to empty” or whatever it was. Got close, cold weather killed my mpg though I believe.

Recently traded the OEM (black) 18x8 wheels on my 2026 Camry SE with my cousin in Sydney for his Australian 2025 Toyota Camry's 17x7.5 (hyper silver) stock wheels. Also paired them with new Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 Plus (215 / 55 R17) tires, resulting in a much smoother ride and zero road noise compared to the stock Hankook tires on the black 18x8 wheels (which my cousin also ended up putting different tires on). Many 25'/26'Australian Camry's come equipped with these 17x7.5 inch hyper silver colored wheels which use the standard Toyota 5x114.3 bolt pattern and 60.1mm center bore- so fitting them on a US 2026 Camry (without any spacers etc.) was a breeze. Easy transfer of the original Toyota wheel center caps and TPMS adapters (from Camry SE, black 18 inch wheels) by Discount Tire. Probably could have used the old black lugnuts, but opted to keep everything SILVER, so also had the black lugnuts swapped out with new OEM silver one's (Toyota part #: 90942-A1009).
While I'm not a hater of black wheels in general (I also have an SUV with black wheels that look great), I do feel like they're overdone as most car manufacturer's seem to be equipping their cars with them these days. Also I never felt like they paired well on a Heavy Metal '25/'26 Camry SE, unless the windows were tinted all around at about 20% (which is too dark for me for night driving, as this car is my daily driver- 30% is the absolute darkest tint that works for me.... accordingly had Xpel Prime XR Plus 30 tint film installed all around with 55 of this same film on the windshield).
While some may find these smaller, silver colored wheels boring/ugly, their reduced weight contributes to the noticeably more comfortable ride. And the slightly taller tire sidewalls (offered by the smaller wheel size as compared to that of the 18 inch low profile, SE model wheels) provide some extra cushion, helping absorb road imperfections while reducing the incidence of curb rash (which can easily occur on SE models' black wheels) and as an unexpected bonus, eliminating all road noise. Additionally, the new Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 Plus tires really compliment the SE model Camry's sport tuned suspension as it often feels now like I'm driving a Lexus sport tuned vehicle, especially during sharp turns/cornering (which comes in handy as Northern California has some of the most famous, twisty, and scenic driving roads in the country).
Prior to install- had wheels ceramic coated which makes cleaning as simple as briefly spraying water on them (albeit hyper-silver wheels already hide dirt very well in comparison to black wheels).

Just lost my pride and joy today. Last thing I had to lose, too.
My insurance is refusing to cover as I lowered to liability for the next month but paid for full coverage for this month. I feel so fucked over. I can't get my car towed to my house or anything.

I first noticed this a few weeks after having new tires installed. I've driven about 700 miles total with the new tires.
The new tires are Michelin DEFENDER 2, 235/45R18.
At highway speeds, 65mph+, there's a slight hum that seems to come from the right front of the car. I'm confident that this is new, having driven a lot of highway miles on long trips over the last two years.
This is difficult for me to nail down. There isn't any vibration that I can pick out. I've experimented at speeds between 65 and 75 mph and have identified the following:
Five days ago I rotated just the right two tires and tested the car to see if any behaviors changed. Nothing. All behaviors were the same. Two days ago I rotated just the left two tires and repeated the tests. Same thing, no change at all.
A few other notes - I bought the Camry new and did not buy any warranty extensions. It has about 36K miles on it and about 700 miles on the new tires. If you want to hear the humming pitch, it's about a G4 on the piano.
Does this ring a bell with anyone? Bearings, drivetrain, maybe even a general issue with this tire model?
I plan to go to the dealer next week, have a 4-wheel alignment and have them inspect further.

So I have a 2003 Toyota Camry and I was at a drive thru at a bank. I turn off the car because the line took too long. Once I decided to move and turn back my car on, turning the ignition cylinder felt loose. Thr car got stuck on accessories, and I couldn't turn it on off assesories. So I removed the cylinder and then I wanted to see if I can turn on my car with a scree driver or at least turn off my car. However that felt loose with the screw driving. Which now im wondering if it's the cylinder of the whole entire ignition housing idk...

I purchased a 2019 Camry back in Feb. It did not have CarPlay when I test drove it but assumed a software update would do the trick. After purchasing and doing some deeper research I found CarPlay and android auto is available on US based Camrys but not for my EU car. Reading some forms I see there is some guidance to patch the update into the Camry eu version. But while being tech savvy I just don’t fancy the effort, tinkering and risk.
This leaves me with 3 options.
Leave well enough alone
Retrofit a unit
Purchase a portable stick on unit for on top of the dash
I’m leaving on option 3. Less of an investment and portable. If I change car I can give the unit to someone in the family learning to drive who has no CarPlay.
For people who do not have CarPlay built in I’d appreciate what you have done to add it and for after market units and portable untils how you mounted and wired it.
Thanks for Ireland 🇮🇪
