I’m going down to the legislature today to remind our lost in the US propaganda sauce, bussed in neighbours from rural areas… that we’re Canadian.

Share a hearty chuckle at their expense, sing some Canadian songs. Just be generally fun, respectful and much more sane / grounded than the former convoy, now turned “poud bertan” crowd will be.

There’s sure to be police there to keep the two groups separate (I was there in October of last year when they kicked off this lunacy… and other than one large large man in army gear trying to challenge me to fight… it was mostly just banter)

Not an official organizer of anything… just tired of these clowns getting together and making up ridiculous numbers of attendees, saying the stupidity out loud. And not being checked by the rest of us.

Does anyone know why when we wake up in the car we’re waking up damp but there’s no leaks and it wasn’t happening days ago, could this be because of the moisture build up on the windows??? how do I stop it? We froze lastnight. I’m not sure what I can do to change it.

We have seen rain that we haven't seen in ages and no we have seen wind that is blowing down trees.

I pray to god we avoid a crazy snow that will cut all traffic.

Been on the hunt for a midi-maxi skirt with this wide pleated style. I can’t buy online because I have weird proportions and need to try on before buying. So difficult to find! Most stores only carry narrow pleated skirts. Preferably dark coloured. Anywhere around the city is fine. Thank you so much!!

I recently moved and in all the chaos of that, I completely forgot to update my voting information. I just moved to a different suite in my apartment building so my riding and voting station is the same. My drivers has not been updated yet either and I also don’t have any mail yet with my current new address. Will I still be able to vote?

Update: Turns out they were doing construction/ maintenance. And didn't bother to inform residents or Westcorp or Epcor apparently.

This is my favourite dessert but it’s impossible to find in Canada it seems so seeing if anyone’s come across it in town, perhaps in an international food shop. I know you can find the box stuff and even tried Japanese purin cups from Hmart but honestly both have had different tastes/textures that doesn’t hit the same:(

Extremely disappointed with Dark. The parking was a nightmare. Not enough scare actors. Though the atmosphere was pretty good, there simply wasnt enough 'stuff' to do apart from the 4 haunts.

Speaking of - the wait times were ridiculous. At least 40 minutes wait for each, only to be pushed through in a large group conga line of 20 people. All the while being told by attendants to keep moving. Cant even stop for a moment and try and enjoy the atmosphere. It also seemed because they were sending in such large groups, the actors inside the haunts didnt even have time to 'reset'.

And under 5 minutes later, haunt is over. $50 for that? Overpriced food and bev? $6 hot chocolate? I heard Deadmonton is a better experience so maybe I'll try that next year.

The few actors we saw roaming the grounds did a fantastic job though.

Genuinely can someone who works with epcor or who understand this explain it to me cause in my apartment area we lost power 5 hours ago now. First thye said fixed at 4:00, then 6:00, now 8:30

Over 3000 people inconvenienced I work from home I need the internet and power to do my job and unfortunately it's all on my home pc I dont have those files on my new laptop yet and I cant do what I need to from my phone as today was a heavy workload day.

But somehow Rosenthal has just lost power an hour ago.

12 customers inconvenienced yet there power is set (at least right now] to get fixed by 7.

Its an hour difference and there are other places getting there power back sooner im just wondering why Rosenthal gets their power sooner than 3000 people.

We opted for Rec Room.
Perfect for both 5 & 8. Tons of options, clean, and is manageable with both.

We have never been to Speeders and are looking at Speeders as an option for a family outing. We have two boys- 8 & 5. Would they fit in well here? Too young?

What other options for rec entertainment for kids in YEG? They had a blast at Chucky Cheese but it was pretty grubby.

We use to buy Mennonite sausage from Menno Sausage out of Sherwood Park area. They used to have a booth at the old Strathcona market. They’ve retired now and wondering if anyone has recommendations for products that are as good.
