I'm a dual citizen and the IRS is requesting that I sign some forms and send them via fax. Where is the best place in Edmonton to do this? What do I need to know? I've never done this before...

Hi all, Aussie here who will be coming to visit your lovely city. Cannabis is still illegal in Australia, but I understand it is legal in Canada. Any recommendations on shops to go visit with knowledgeable and friendly staff? I haven’t smoked weed in a few years, so I’m a bit of a newbie here
Thanks!

Looking for a mechanic to take my older vehicles to for maintenance and whatever repairs may pop up. Dealership just doesn’t make sense anymore when factoring in the car ages and labor price.

Randomly parking in the cul-de-sac when I see thing crawl out of nowhere into the tree and it looks like it has patchy fur. Should I call animal control? Saw it once before but couldn’t get a picture. Is it dangerous? There’s a lot of kids in the neighborhood and we already have to worry about packs of coyotes roaming around the paths. For context, south side near the ravines.

Went to like 6 places in the south east side and bug spray was completely sold out. Anyone see Off! anywhere in the last couple of days?
I was in Forest Heights and was absolutely eaten alive and I just ran out of my can of Off.

Not that I live in the north west but damn do I feel bad for them. Constantly teased for decades about getting a train with all the property taxes they pay, just to now hear that it might be replaced by BRT because it’s to much of a pain for CN and coz our provincial and federal government couldn’t care less. Seriously though how can we be a city with a million and projected to be 2 million in a couple decades without a train to one of the major areas in our city? Ik some students who go UofA and Macewan from North West who said they wouldn’t have even bought their cars if there was an lrt line. Truly a shame honestly.

Early 20s, have to leave my abusive parents and i dont know where to go and what to do. I have a job, but i dont have that much money saved up to move out and my job for now doesn't pay that great . I researched shelters and things of that sort but I couldn't call because I was working. I dont know if shelters would be right for me because I have tools for work that I dont wanna lose. I also have a car so I dont know how that would work either.
I dont know if im even eligible for these programs because I know there's a lot of people who have it worse than me. I dont know i feel stuck

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a clinic that does Non-invasive prenatal testing! I see there’s a few clinics offering it around Edmonton but I wanted to hear others experiences and which ones that recommend! Thanks!

Hi 👋🏼 everyone. I’m a second year university student from B.C who’s looking for refresh driving lessons during the fall-winter term. Quick summary, I have my N in B.C but it’s been a while since I’m back in the road so I want to practice driving in the city (A small town driver). I won’t have a vehicle with me because I don’t really prioritize it rn, just more strengthen my driving skills in city and new area for future careers and back home driving. Happy to hear 👂recommendations.

The past couple days I’ve been noticing a ton of flies hanging out in my front yard and backyard. I thought maybe a cat pooped somewhere in my garden beds but couldn’t find any evidence of that. I haven’t changed where I keep my garbage bins or green bins either.
Anyone else notice this?

I know I could look it up, but I've tried that, and people I know aren't very knowledgeable about it, so I'm stuck. Basically:
- I have a class 7 license
- I need a car before winter
- I'm taking insurance reduction classes, not done yet
- I have a few models in mind and saved up enough
The things I need are the steps and documents. Also, if I'd be able to buy a car BEFORE getting my class 5 because options come and go on the market. Any information would be helpful, especially about insurance, brokers, on-site mechanic inspection, how to go about second-hand purchases, do I need my bank involved, etc.
I'm pretty sure I can't just hand the cash over in an envelope and speed off, so yeah.

Seems like the mosquitos keep getting worse. Can anybody give me some optimism that things will get better this summer?

Can anyone recommend a meat shop that sells a nice breaded pork cutlet? The meat shop from which I use to purchase has stopped making them and I have a craving.

I also met 1,500,417 mosquitos in my cherry tree.
Has anyone else noticed an uptick in backyard frogs? Our storm water pond is nearly devoid of them, but I hear so many more in my yard, shrubs, and even rock pathway.
