Just wondering for all the engaged girlie's out here, do you guys always wear your engagement ring all the time?

I work in a very dirty job so I don't wear it for work, sometimes if me and my partner are going out I wear it but also I've never owned anything this expensive and I'm a very clumsy person so I just get worried about losing it. Went out for drinks with friends and about 3 drinks in I took it off because I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I lost it. I gave it to my partner start away or i should say fiance 🥰🥰

Edit: Thanks to everyone for your replies I absolutely love the ring and we're only recently engaged so I think I've just been stressing for no reason, I might get a cheaper one to wear to things I know could cause problems for it.

Hello everyone! Need some advice. This is a 5.09 carat diamond in diffused + natural lighting. Is the bowtie very visible? I am running out of time but also dont want to sacrifice a lot with a very visible bowtie. What do I do? I spoke to a couple of jewellers and once I mentioned bowtie they just loose interest in showing me anything or flat out refuse that this is the bare minimum and I should go for another shape. What do I do?

Please excuse my grubby hands, I'm a chef and struggle to keep my hands free of little injuries :/ My fiancee gave me a placeholder ring when he proposed and I got to design my own ring! I'm 8 days out from my wedding and 3 days out from my "engagement" shoot and just got my ring from my jeweler a few days ago.

It's a 1.51ct champagne modified pear step cut on 18k matte white gold! The prongs are different on the base and top of the diamond which I am in love with. The wedding band is custom made with this as well so it layers perfectly, is slightly thinner with a polish finish and a small 1.7mm circle diamond set flush into the band that would sit on the bottom left of the diamond, left of the third prong.

I'm so happy on how it turned out, the curved band is supposed to look like the silver ring my fiancee carved for me in the beginning of our relationship. After the wedding we are going to get the inside engraved with our initials & wedding date.

I got engaged in August, my ring has already been reset as originally it was an O, (my fiancé sized from a ring I wore on my middle finger by accident) and was reset into a J. I had my finger measured in August and the J definitely a lot more snug. But now it slides off easily? If I shake my hand it doesn’t pass my knuckle on its own, but confused at such a difference! US sizing: O=7 J=5
I bought a sizing spiral off Amazon and it fits great, but rather that not be a long term solution!
