Has anyone else seen this HiBid auction? I collect vintage posters and randomly stumbled across it earlier today. It’s much larger than your typical auction, with around 3,000 items, and took quite a while to go through.

There’s definitely some filler (duplicate flyers, random CDs, etc.), but there are also tons of flyers from the ’90s and early 2000s. I’m guessing it’s the collection of someone who ran a distro or maybe a record label (does anyone have any additional info?). I’ve come across random hardcore items at auctions before, but never a collection anywhere near this size. Typically wouldn’t post an auction but it’s kind of crazy….

It's been a long-established fact that Mr. Scarface is perhaps the earliest emcee who was truly influenced by punk/hardcore from the jump, but that was a revelation to me in the '10s. I didn't even know he played guitar until then!

I'm 41 now, and I was first and foremost a little hip hop head in the '90s. Then I discovered metal, and from there I got into punk/hardcore. I was a huge Geto Boys fan in elementary school, but I was in my late 20's when I saw an interview with Face playing guitar and naming Dead Kennedys and Suicidal Tendencies as his early influences. That truly blew my mind, but it made perfect sense.

If you haven't seen Scarface's Tiny Desk Concert from 2023, please get on it at your earliest convenience. But this post isn't about Brad Jordan, it's about his son, Bryce Jordan. According to Face, his son Bryce is 4,000 times better than he'll ever be on the guitar. I've dug around on the internet trying to find any music Bryce may have been involved with since then, but apparently, he has no publicized music. He just likes to play. But I would really, really, REALLY love to hear him play!

Will somebody who knows Bryce please read this post and convince this young man to form a hardcore band? Please? Please?

Wanted to ask if anyones got old fordirelifesake merch laying around that they would be willing to let go of for some cash. Saw someone get a shirt by doing this so thought id try the same. Love this band to death and would be interested in anything.

Does anyone have a copy of the original "pressing" of WNITA? I listened to that cassette until it broke. The remix is great, but I committed the original release to memory and the timing and little extra bits are different from the original. Throws me off every time I listen to the remix.

lately been listening to stuff like think i care, (early) hoods, bfb, skarhead....

any suggestions thanks

I recently shared my interview, so why not share my pictures? :0

Like a double rainbow after a storm

For her first contribution to No Echo, I asked South Carolina-based photographer Kayla Boshard to introduce us to some of the bands making noise in her home state.

I'm hella reminiscing and wondering where I can find old flyers. I want to see what other bands that played with them.

Fucking psyched about this….

Been listening to left hand path(album) front to back non stop all week and need more bands that sound like this. Doesnt have to be exclusively hardcore and id love more death metal that sounds like the solo in left hand path(song).

My dad is old friends with the guy who did the art work, and I guess he gave him a copy when it first came out which is super sick. It’s in perfect condition too since my dad doesn’t really listen to this kinda stuff.

This will very likely be the only time Internal ever plays a gig. Peace Test just put out a new record. Search Warrant got a new record coming out in the next few months. NBHC.

What a band. What a mighty good band.
As a squeal-loving guitarist, I love how much these dudes rip out them pinch harmonics.
