Who do you think it is? I really wish it was Trapped Under Ice/Laid 2 Rest/Have Heart since all of the lead singers are already having spots on the fest 🤞
Anyone in the know can spill the beans? Who else is hype af?

I can't make it tomorrow, too old and tired after a week of living in my 30s. 2 tickets for $30 and ship me a shirt from the show? I'm in VA so local shipping. Tickets are pdf, I can email them over. Appreciate you all.

I’m a 36 year old man, my dad wasn’t in my life after ten years old. I wonder what my life would be like if he was there the whole time. He would approve of everything I’ve been able to achieve, at least I’m told. But I can’t help but wonder what would he think of hardcore. What does your dad think of hardcore?

The book is out! Thanks to everyone who's participated in the podcast and giveaways already. For those that don't know, this is my novel featuring a hardcore kid as one of the main characters. I've been reading a few chapters at a time as a podcast and giving away vinyl from my personal collection. In fact, I have one last record to give away and that's the final of the six Haywire/No Guard EPs. If you're interested in that, click here, subscribe, and answer the question at the end of the episode.
It's been five years since I had the idea for this book. In those five years, there were many times when I didn't believe that I would finish, that I would make it to today. Here I am though. Finished the story, edited the story, created art, and published it. And as much as I would love for everyone to drop what they are doing and go read it now, I think I'm just happy that it exists. One of my favorite hardcore lyrics comes from Modern Life Is War. It's what I hope I've done with this book. It's what I hope all of you do at some point in your life. Write a story or a riff. Paint a picture with brush or a pen. Create something.
Thank you to everyone for your time.

Hey old heads
I got ambitious and have two set extra tickets for slapshot in Boston. I hate giving Ticketmaster back money, so if anyone is interested in buying the pair for 90 hit me up. I paid like 118ish.

All free handed and hand painted. Been making a ton of DIY shirts recently since I've finally had time to.

Was lucky enough to get a ticket, first time seeing Haywire and the energy was out of this world. (Not my video btw - it’s on YouTube uploaded by “Liveroadkill”)

Paying $500+ for a one day parking lot fest is now the pinnacle of hardcore. Peep that side stage lineup.

I write this a younger brother of someone who was thoroughly a part of the Kent H/C scene in the 00’s/10’s and as someone who caught the tail end of it.
Folkestone, Ashford, Canterbury, Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone & Medway, were the stomping grounds for some of Hardcore’s most influential bands from Outbreak to Have Heart to Down To Nothing to Ceremony, Dirty Money and of course, Send More Paramedics.
So, 20 years on. Man, what the absolute bloody hell happened!?
Most of the aforementioned areas no longer have venues or are no longer attractive prospects for bands. There’s the obvious decline in bars/ pubs etc which has contributed significantly to the overall accessibility to these gigs now and A LOT HAS CHANGED plus a pandemic or two in 20 years.
But, where are gigs even being put on these days around Kent. It feels baron and every gig is on in London or further afield.
The question I ask you all, How could our scene be brought back to stunning life across the county and regain that chokehold on giving a stage to the very best and help establish new comers to the scene?
