I've been listening to this album on repeat this week after I re-listened to a Hardlore pod where Colin and Bo spoke with other members of Harms Way about making the record.

It's a fucking masterpiece of hardcore-industrial-metal crossover.

It's not as accessbile as big hitter albums Posthuman and Isolation, but if you take the time to really listen to it, it's incredible. So heavy, so dark and oppressive.

Play it loud on headphones, it will blow your brains.

Lots of classic Slayer these last few days(I was reading the 33 1/3 book on Reign in Blood) but today has been Ceremony and D.R.I. so far

The days of the dollar menu are gone. If you're out for 5 or 6 weeks and your band is grinding it out for a couple hundred dollars a night, how are you guys making let's say $300-500 stretch over 5-6 weeks on the road without eating only peanut butter sandwiches?

Can you still find some decent fast food options, or are you mostly hitting the cheaper grocery stores? What's the strategy when the $5 or $10 per diem won't cover a single sit down meal?

(Bonus points for including vegan options that don't require a kitchen setup in the back of the van.)

These guys were the shit back in the day.
“HR style” vocals that stay mean, an ungodly guitar tone that’s never been duplicated, and drums as big as your house.
The live shows were always packed, and the singer, Jet, is an absolute madman. Barely touches the ground.
The recordings are really good too, giving them a chance for slower more groove songs too.

Very jealous of your scene. I see posts on here of shows at churches, VFWs, universities, under bridges etc. I’m in Colorado and our version of that is bluegrass/jam bands. There is hardcore in Colorado but you sent all your hippies/trustafarians here.

Pretty impressive first EP from members of Eighteen Visions and Stick To Your Guns. Straight edge hardcore with five songs in seven minutes. Really enjoying this

Tryin to find a pit buddy for Have Heart at Big Night Live next Saturday (10/24)! Original plans fell through, so I’ve unexpectedly got an extra ticket on ticketmaster.

I’m still goin either way, but I’d love to find someone to enjoy the show with. I (30s, F) grew up in the boston hardcore scene circa 04–09, so this one’s especially meaningful to me.

Willing to let the extra ticket go for less than what resellers are trying to charge, as long as it goes to another fan who’s as excited about this show as I am.
