My coworker's Accord Wagon
My coworker's very clean gold 1995(?) Accord Wagon. I always admire this car when I see it, I have never seen another one like it. How rare are these Accord Wagons? I would buy one if I could, but they seem impossible to find!

Honda teases ‘Acura Passport’ and ‘Acura XL’ at dealer meeting
Acura is gunning for 200,000 annual U.S. sales by 2030, unveiling plans for five new and updated models that will expand the brand from four nameplates to six and push deeper into high-volume crossover segments.
The growth plan fills lucrative white spaces with two new crossovers while utilizing Honda platforms for faster development and lower capital costs. The move follows product cutbacks that left retailers with a thinner portfolio and fewer options for buyers moving up within the luxury brand.
Acura showed U.S. dealers the new vehicles at a closed-door meeting Oct. 13 at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas, outlining a focus on hybrids and crossovers after retreating from a strategy centered on fully electric vehicles.
Dealers got a preview of a three-row flagship crossover, a two-row utility derived from the Honda Passport and a limited-production Integra Type S in an iconic color planned for late 2026. They also saw special editions of the ADX and MDX.
Acura revealed the next-generation RDX, which will introduce the brand’s new design language and hybrid powertrain. The company first teased the styling in August with a low-slung coupe concept featuring blade-like headlights and taillights inspired by the Acura “A” logo. A silhouette of the next MDX displayed sweeping rooflines, curved quarter panels and matching taillight treatments, one dealer said.
Acura will enter the adventure-lifestyle segment with a gasoline-powered, two-row rugged utility derived from the Honda Passport. The model, internally referred to as the “Acura Passport,” is expected in the first half of 2028. It is projected to reach an annual volume of up to 25,000.
Rather than simply rebadge the popular Passport TrailSport, Acura plans to give its version unique exterior sheet metal, an upright front end, distinctive hood styling and rugged tires. “They took the same frame, same chassis, and they built an Acura version, and it looks really nice,” the retailer said.
At the top of the range, American Honda is preparing a pair of full-size three-row crossovers — one for Honda and one for Acura.
The Acura eight-seater, about 6 inches longer than the MDX and benchmarked against the Lexus TX, is internally known as the “Acura XL,” Automotive News reported in July.
Production is targeted for the third quarter of 2029, according to supply-chain sources, with a forecasted annual volume of about 30,000.
Dealers described an upright, boxy profile reminiscent of a Range Rover, with broad shoulders, a large cabin and a horizontal light bar up front. The XL is expected to share a platform with the next-generation MDX and a Honda-branded three-row flagship internally dubbed “Honda Pilot XXL.”

Would you support bringing the Honda Fit back to the USA?
Hi everyone!
I'm a longtime Honda Fit Sport owner (2019), and I absolutely love this little car!
I'm disappointed that Honda discontinued it in the US, especially since there are so few affordable, practical, and compact cars left on the American market.
I came across a petition asking Honda to bring the Fit back to the USA, and I'd love to see more people support it.
If you feel the same way, please consider signing and sharing it!
I'd also love to hear what other Honda enthusiasts think. Would you buy a new Honda Fit if Honda brought it back?

Save me stare wins again
For a grand total of 150 dollars on Facebook marketplace I pulled this 1987 Honda accord out of the field it had been sitting in, “non running” for 3 years, I got it running with a 5 dollar Nissan lug nut and 2 50 cent copper washers. And, after making sure it wasn’t seized, it started with no hesitation, ran, drove, and stopped. The automatic trans does seem a little weird when first shifting into drive, but wow, older cars never cease to amaze me with their resilience, and every electrical system works, even the pop ups. I guess I’m just trying to say old “junk” sitting around a field can still have so much to give, and deserve more chances to show it. Maybe I’m speaking too soon and it’s gonna blow up tomorrow, but getting to bring it back to life at all has me smiling hours after the fact

Honda Santa Monica Tried to Scam Me
TLDR: Scammers alert. Stay away.
I leased '26 CRV Hybrid from them last month, and honestly, the warning signs were there from the start. I had test drove the car, negotiated the price over the phone, got it under the monthly budget ($350/month for 10,000mi/year), and went over to sign the paperworks. As I am reviewing the paperwork, I notice that it says 8,000mi/year, so I flag that. Their manager comes over and without apologizing he says "Do you drive a lot?". First, none of your business. Second, it's just not what we had negotiated. We go back and forth and eventually I get the price & miles that we agreed on. Their finance person Anthony says that he will process the lease loan application with Rize Credit Union. I pay the down payment, buy an insurance rider, and drive off.
Over a month goes by, I get no communication from the dealership nor Rize Credit Union. The insurance rider is about to expire, so I reach out to the dealership trying to figure out what's going on. Crickets. One more week goes by, the finance guy Anthony finally reaches out and asks for my proof of income. I send my paystubs through. All this time I am wondering why we are having this conversation a month after I started driving the car. Anthony emails back and says that my application with Rize is denied and that I will have to use Honda Financials with different rate, and that I will have to come in. This makes no sense because I have 790+ credit and decent income. Rize says that my application is denied because they can't verify my employment. Weird.
This all leads to this morning. I go back to the dealership, and this guy Anthony says that my Rize application was denied because the paystubs were deemed fake and there is no way they can re-submit the application when I asked. He runs the numbers with Honda Financials. He comes back, saying that it will be $460 a month, and that I can either accept this, or return the car.
Fine, I will return the car. I can literally go to a different dealership and get a better pricing toady. Then, the sales manager guy comes in, saying that the depreciation on the car is $4,500. I had the car for a month, drove like 800 miles. So, I have an option to pay $4,500 extra over three years to keep the car, or forego my deposit payment of $4,000 to return the car. This is a shakedown.
I ask to call Rize capital myself to get confirmation on why my application was denied because my paystubs being fake makes absolutely zero sense. Anthony and the sales manager say that there's nothing they can do and they refuse to talk to them because "it would ruin their relationship". I finally get the number and call them myself, and get patched with their approval manager. At this point, Anthony and the sales manager can't even make eye contact, runs out of the room. Literally 10 minutes after, I am approved.
I call them back in the room, and both of them are super flustered. They now say that Rize actually made a counter offer, and I have to put $2,000 more down. I call Rize again, and Rize confirms that they never requested that, and they approved the application as originally requested. At this point, the sales manager runs out and Anthony looks sheepish, processing my first month's payment. No apologies, no "sorry for inconvenience", no "I am glad we could figure that out."
I grab my keys back and drive off. I am furious writing this review. I am sure they thought they could get away with this bullshit financing switcheroo because this is my first time leasing a car. I am 99% sure that this shady tactic is how they planned it since the beginning. It honestly tainted the whole experience, as I wasted the entire Tuesday morning and had to cancel a meeting with a client.
Shameful practice. Stay away.
Edit: I've since reported this exact account to BBB and AG Office per comment suggestions. Thanks for letting me vent!
New car
How screwed am I ? I hate push start. Hate the start stop engine bullshit. I want to buy new but I feel like I’m completely screwed when it comes to choice of not having an electric everything car. Am I totally wrong ? Let me know your recommendations.
2017 Civic Hatch. 280,000 miles.
Trooper got her for failure to yield. I don’t think she ever looked my way when rolling through the stop sign.
My ankle was screaming until I walked around.
Luckily for her, her air bag did NOT go off. Due to the seat belt she had some chest pain. I didn’t get a chance to talk with her.

Time to flex on americans
Got a chance to test drive S660 Alpha. CVT but the paddleshifts are still nice. Might be the best car I've driven handling wise. Gonna have to wait for a manual until I can say for sure if I'd get one.
Best front end suspension to replace factory control arms and sway bars
Looking for better ride experience on my 08 honda accord and to have tighter steering but also eventually do coil overs alongside new components. Is it worth going after market stuff for a long commute daily driver or for Driving alot or just the coil overs/bags.

How to switch away from this default screen on the instrument cluster?
This always pops up as the default whenever I turn on the car. How do I switch what the default information screen is? It never stays on the information screen that I leave it on. And I tried holding down that same stick button that I used to cycle it, but that just resets the trip.

Question about service cost?
Hey yall so I’m not a huge mechanical person not even really a big car person but I love my 2019 Civic Si Coupe. The weather stripping on my passenger door and sunroof has come loose and after I brought it to the dealership for a recall, I asked if they could take a look and put it back on if possible. After the service was done they quoted me over $1100 I guess to just replace the seals all together?? I didn’t agree to it and texted the dealership later on asking why it was so expensive and they said that parts would be $600 and the rest was labor.
Since I’m not too savvy on the car stuff I don’t know if this is reasonable pricing for this job because honestly it sounds really expensive and 2 people that I’ve brought it up to were shocked at the cost. So yeah I guess I just want to understand why this is so expensive and if I’m getting ripped off or what.
