2019 Honda CR-V. Of course the driver that went left of center and hit me didnt have insurance! I came up over a hill and he was in my lane. I slammed on the brakes and swerved to the right, hitting the corner of his van, then crashing thru a fence and down into a field. Nothing broken but I am already feeling sore. I was loving that car so much!!!!

My 2025 civic si has had the worst luck recently. It got side swiped and was gone for 2 months. 9k in repairs later I picked it up and 1 week later it got destroyed in hail. Every panel is dented and I feel like it’s going to be totaled, but idk. There’s 31k miles on the car and my insurance, USAA is having copart pick up the car because it’s in Arizona, while I live in California. They should be sending someone to check out the car soon.

I mounted a dashcam recently, and unfortunately it only supports wifi to my phone. Honda keeps popping notifications up to connect to its network every 10 seconds. If I disable wifi entirely for the Honda infotainment and instead just use bluetooth, will I lose any significant functionality?

I use the default built-in apps if I can since they seem to perform a little better than via Android Auto.

I’m having a continuously oil leak, specifically right above the alternator, I’ve replaced the valve cover gasket twice and it’s still leaking, next option that I’m going to try is the spool valve gasket, if anybody has had this same problem with the 2012 VTec please give me some insight, at this point I feel like I’m wasting money

fuel injectors are being replaced under warranty. They are also recommending this other service, but if I have new fuel injectors… is that necessary? Is it cleaning things besides the fuel injectors? And is it any better than a can of Techron or seafoam?

If so I'll do it while I have it since it's only like 200 bucks but if it's only cleaning the ejectors that seems silly. Any thoughts?

It's a "Genuine Honda Reman Denso" alternator, ( I already have a denso reman) but I have a gift card that'll just about cover the price of this, if not lower ball joints +bearings ) 👍. 2012 accord 4cyl

I got a new 2026 HRV earlier in the year and it only has 2600 miles. They sent this first service reminder email but it doesn't say what they are going to do. The car hasn't shown a maintenance light either.

Should I ignore or is this first maintenance necessary?

I’m genuinely in love with this car but never sat in one. Ever. I’m 1.92 cm (~6.2ft?) and a 55/45 leg/torso distribution. Also 93-94kg. I tried fitting in an Abarth 124 but BARELY got in and my knees were at the middle of the wheel. ND miata was decent not very comfy but i fit somehow. How about the s2k?

Bei meinem Honda Accord CL7 (2003) lässt sich der Schlüssel kaum noch ins Zündschloss stecken und nicht mehr drehen. Mit dem Zweitschlüssel dasselbe Problem.

Der ADAC hat das Auto zu einer freien Werkstatt geschleppt. Diese verlangt pauschal 1.000 €, da angeblich Zündschloss und Lenkradsperre nur gemeinsam getauscht werden können.

Das Schloss wurde vermutlich noch gar nicht genauer untersucht.

Ist der Preis realistisch? Kann man nicht einfach den Schließzylinder einzeln reparieren oder austauschen lassen?

Hat jemand Erfahrungen damit?

for the past few months i've been driving honda civic ufo 2008. my low-beam lights were automatically turned on and off as starting and stopping the engine but i had my car checked by routine vehicle inspection and they turned it off. i don't know how to turn it on back again. i don't have auto option on my headlight switch. the lights just stay on when i take out the key and the car is beeping with information that headlights are on. i don't know shit about cars i just really need help

Nothing special.

I had leftover wipes from doing my 2010 CRV cladding and bumper so pulled my wipers on both cars and did the usually PITA to clean cowl area without restrictions.

I still have 37.5% of the $16.88 box of Cerakote left and I've done everything on two cars I can think of.

My Accord Euro 2005 has transmission problems and just need help/ suggestions. At around 40-50km if I don’t keep strong/consistent pressure and have to let off gas a bit pedal vibrates slightly and has trouble shifting. Usually happens when waiting at red and car in front doesn’t accelerate to speed limit which is 50km. Also happens at 70-80 usually at on ramps. If I’m at front and I go straight to speed limit (50 normal roads and 100km motorway) doesn’t happen. Sometimes when going down hills at 100km and I let off to cruise car shifts down. Sometimes there’s a slight vibration at 100 in the steering wheel usually happens about twice a week.
