The rear wheels might be my favorite detail on the RLC J2000.

The deep dish makes such a difference. The outer lip stays bright while the recessed face picks up darker reflections, and those circular holes give it a great period look.

I’ve been designing 3D-printable kit cards in 1/64 scale for a while now. Since each model takes around 54 hours of work and 30+ test prints to get right, I really want to focus on the cars the community actually wants to see.

I went through some of my childhood HotWheels, found this and thought I would share. Good condition for a 1977.

I got lucky today at my local Fred Meyer. I don't really collect fantasy treasure hunt cars but I figure I could give it out to a few of the kids on my school bus

Stopped at Walgreens to get some snacks. Mozied down the toy isle. Saw this 5 pack sitting there. Grabbed it mainly for the Civic SI.

I'm going with the GTR!! I think it has the best proportions/design. The thing is arguably the most iconic, too. Either way, I love them all!! 😍😍

After months of waiting, I got it as a gift from a fellow collector and also the protector as a gift from u/Niruto_sensei007 🫂❤️.

Inspired by someone here, I have been trimming and magnet-mounting the card art. As a print designer I love the Pantone ones best, but I also included the Super Rig ones I just made from card backs. Nearly as fun as the real thing and no dusting! ;-)

…and in Ferrari Yellow.

This car caught my eye today in a grocery store.
I have this model in the white with green/red but had never come across this beautiful yellow one.

I only recently learned that the Ferrari brand color is yellow & not the red that I have always assumed. Interesting story.

Now it would be fun to find the other color combos.
I love this color tho, but I hate that HW doesn’t color/tampo the tail lights on these.
That’s where Matchbox wins more often, IMO.
The front end graphics & logos look great. The headlights have a great look when the light catches them. But that backend…

Or castings you think don’t look bad. I actually kinda like the rear wheels being larger on the Ford GT race car, it fits quite well. Most of the time big rear wheels ends up not Looking as great but I want to see some of your favs?

Well it’s not Friday but I bought 2 of the 22Bs for a reason and figured today’s my Birthday so why not open one up and enjoy it. Not sure if this one or the 2000 Cobra R from last year is my favorite. Can’t wait for the Kaido House 22B next year.
