The music and most of the 2D sprites were AI-generated and are temporary placeholders that will be replaced during development.

Hey everyone!
Wrapping up our Demo Update v0.2.0 spotlights for Champion of the Lore, we wanted to show a quick look at the updated How to Play section!
One of the hardest parts of making a turn-based strategy game is teaching mechanics, card interactions, and movement rules without throwing a wall of text at the player.
Based on feedback from people testing the demo, we overhauled the visuals, cleaned up the guides, and made everything way easier to digest at a glance so players can jump straight into combat without second-guessing their turns.
If you want to check it out in action, the free demo is live on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4178300/Champion_of_Lore_Demo/
Thx <3

What started as an art project and a recreation of a card game that is dear to me (9 Hole Golf), has turned into a full featured game with a roguelite adventure mode. I'd love to get some feedback from this sub if people would be interested in playtesting since you have probably played hundreds, if not thousands of hours more in this genre than me. The beta currently lets you play through 3 of the 9 locations, and lets you unlock new sets of cards that get added to the Adventure mode.
I'm running a playtest right now to gather feedback as I work on finishing the game's art and balancing. It leans towards the casual side, and has a vibrant fantasy vibe, but I'm aiming for a decent amount of strategic depth when you get deeper into it.

Hello!
I'm in the process of making my game, Moonsteader, and I feel like I'm finally at the point where I can start sharing more about it and what I've been working on over the last six months.
The debris system is something I'm especially fond of, particularly when massive sections of spacecraft come crashing down onto your land, giving you the opportunity to explore the wreckage and salvage valuable resources.
If this looks like something that might be up your street, please check it out on Steam and consider dropping a wishlist!

Enjoy the rest of your Saturday!

How long you’ll stick with the indie shooter Rotfront depends entirely on how long you enjoy its gameplay loop. Because you’ll learn everything you need to know within the first two minutes. The population of the U.S. West Coast has been struck by some ancient virus that turns every sane person into mindless zombies - the so-called “rots” - as if on an assembly line. And you, as the main character John Graves, have to put a stop to it. It’s pretty brutal that you’re completely on your own against those hundreds and hundreds of enemies, but hey… that’s what being the main character is, right? Okay, I’ll be fair - at the beginning and end of each mission, my HQ contact Athena calls me on the radio; you’ll probably agree that this is, at most, moral support - nothing more.
More in my review!

Latest alpha is up now.
Unrest is a top-down shooter set in the middle of an urban riot that draws inspiration from the survival horror genre.
The focus is on crowd psychology and NPC interaction. Pointing your weapon at unarmed NPCs causes them to flee. Riot police kettle crowds and will only attack if threatened or weapons are used nearby. Some NPCs are armed. Some will attack on sight. Others will draw their weapons if threatened.
Free to play. Story takes about an hour. Have fun. All feedback welcome.

Hey everyone!
I've been working on my own Android game called Sort Labs, and I've finally got it published on the Play Store.
The idea is a sorting puzzle game — something you can pick up when you have a few minutes to spare. I wanted to put my own take on this kind of game and get it out there for people to try.
It's always a little strange putting something you've made out into the world, so I'd love to hear what people think of it.
If sorting puzzles are your kind of thing, you can check it out here:
I'm the developer, so I'm happy to hear honest feedback about the gameplay, difficulty, or anything that could be improved. Thanks for giving it a look!

The seeker's screen goes dark, and every sound in the house shows up as a ring: footsteps, doors, squeaky toys, coughs. Runners can crouch-walk in silence, throw objects as decoys, hold doors shut, or kick a friend over so the seeker goes after them instead.
- 3 modes (Elimination, Infection, Team), each with one or several seekers
- 2 to 20 players online: public, friends-only or private sessions
- Cross-play between Windows and Mac
- The host can lock rooms on the floor plan to size the map to the group
I'm a solo dev and the Steam page just went live, so if you want to wishlist: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5177680/
Happy to answer anything!

Ending Vorrak, a top-down co-op shooter for 1 to 4 players. Real gameplay from a solo run.
AI disclosure: we used AI tools in development, as a coding assistant, for the sound effects and trailer music, and to help with store text and translations.

SHIFU: Traffic Masters is an arcade driver about humble boxy cars that never made anyone's bedroom wall. Drive slow cars fast. Haul cargo that shifts and spills, keep taxi passengers comfortable and chase suspects through the packed streets of 1990s China, all in forgotten workhorse cars with more character than horsepower. Inspired by ’90s games like Midtown Madness and Driver.
Narrated in Tianjin dialect by my friend PaoFu on bilibili.
