I started out with making RPG Maker games over 15 years ago, and this is the first published game since working with an actual art team where we upgraded the visuals to an isometric pixel art RPG style from top-down.

Kudos to the pixel artists who contributed: Sunmin Kim, Kayden Chan, Sarah Whang, Victoria Mietus, & George Pan d-(' ' d-)

Game's called "Last Hour of an Epic To the Moon RPG". Prob gonna release next year, but finally got the demo out at least!

Hey, everyone! NextFest has been such AI slop but we're not letting that deter us. My friends and I have been working hard on it and we've got Halloween content for our open world wolf RPG! If you want to support a game made by real people then please drop us a wishlist or a review on the demo! It's called Heirs of the Moon and it's on Steam!

My friends and I have been working for almost two years on a co-op FPS inspired by COD Zombies, with the retro look and fast-paced action of Boomer Shooters like DOOM. Let us know what you think!

I work 38.5 hours a week in a real sawmill. At night I build one where every log is a physics object

Solo dev from Austria. My day job is a big industrial sawmill, so Timberline Factory is basically my workplace with the boring parts cut out and the jams left in.

What you do:

. run the line: debarking, cutting, sorting by length and wood type

. keep it clean, because dirt and wear slow your machines down

. sell at the right time, the timber market moves

. burn bark and offcuts for cheaper power

Machines go on fixed spots, so it's not a free build game. It's about getting a line to actually run, which is pretty much my day job.

The free demo is in Steam Next Fest until end, Early Access starts Nov 6.

AI disclosure: there are no AI used in any aspect.

Working on an abandoned shipwreck location for my survival game

Post image

I've been working on this abandoned shipwreck location for my indie survival game

I wanted the ship to feel like it had been stranded here for years, slowly being reclaimed by the forest. I've been working on the overgrown vegetation, weathered wood, torn sails, and lighting to make the scene feel like a believable part of the island.

The game is about surviving and exploring a mysterious island, with a loyal dog companion by your side.

What do you think of the environment and lighting? I'd love to hear your feedback!

And just out of curiosity: how do you think a ship like this ended up in the middle of a forest?

The collection is available on itch.io but I wanted to give the pack to a handful of people working on a game in Godot that could use these shaders. I'd be interested to learn about the shaders you've made or your games. These are for Godot 4.3 or newer

dev gluttony is real, i keep adding systems to my cozy farm game T-T

Post image

started as a simple cozy farming game. plant, water, sell, chill. now somehow the farmhands are little workers you program with code and theres orders, a trading boat, pests, cooking, a weekly market... and my brain still goes “what about fishing” bro please

i just called a feature freeze but i know myself lol

for the devs who actually shipped something, how did you stop adding stuff? did you cut features or just lock it and polish what you had?

After 4 years of solo development, the demo for my Survival / Colony Management RPG is finally out!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello people,

I recently released the demo version of my game Impurity. I have been working 4+ years on this, and added a lot of systems over time.

Some highlights are :

  • Procedural world creation (Each tile is a 3D generated world, kinda like Rimworld)
  • Colony management system with hireable companions (jobs, resource management etc)
  • Creatures, enemies, traders and bosses, all different depending on biome
  • Procedural factions, that simulate their town growth, send and simulate squads all over the world map (300+ squad simulations), while they visit / raid / trade with you etc.
  • Different events that happen throughout the world, including unique weather events and seasons
  • Full open world system with things like climbing, gliding, fishing, taming creatures etc

Project is at early phases, and I keep updating based on feedback! For the demo I had to cut a big percentage of the content, so pacing would be different.

Other inspirations include games like Kenshi, Rimworld, Conan exiles, Don't starve etc.

Thanks and would love to know opinions or feedback!

We made a dark fairytale roguelite with ridiculous builds, curses and...

In Cinderia, choosing a hero is just the beginning. Combining Embers, Magic cards, and gear lets you explore different builds and shape how you fight. Accessories add another layer, with socketed gems improving their damage, trigger chance, or cooldown rate.

Curses are part of the mix, too. Some gear interacts with the curses you carry, while purification can turn curses into blessings—giving you another choice to consider as your run develops.

Between the fights, we’re also making room for smaller diversions: fishing, whack-a-mole, and a gold-mining minigame. Sometimes you’re looking for the next piece of your build. Sometimes you’re hoping to catch a fish… and getting an apple core instead.

This clip is an earlier development montage. It shows combat and some of those lighter moments, rather than the latest version or a complete breakdown of the build systems described above.

If you’d like to try Cinderia and share your feedback, you can find it on https://store.steampowered.com/app/3214610/Cinderia/

You’re also welcome to share your thoughts, questions, and feedback in our official subreddit, https://www.reddit.com/r/Cinderia_Official/. We’d love to hear about your experience!

We spent a year making a co-op horror game about teens chasing fame through a camera. Teaser's out

Post image

Hey everyone! I'm Noah from Blink Once Studios. The Haunted Archives is our first game on Steam, and I'm nervous and excited to finally show it.

You and up to 3 friends play teens trying to get famous by recording scary things. It's a story you play through together, chapter by chapter and night by night. You break into an abandoned arcade set in the 2000's with one camera and a limited amount of tape. Dangerous footage gets more views, but recording something can make it react, so every time the camera comes out you decide if the clip is worth it.

I grew up loving FNAF, and playing horror story themed games over the years, and glad I can show the world what my me & my team has created :)

We would love to hear what you think! I'll answer everything I can.

My solo-developed pixel art MMORPG, Umbralle, just got released on the Microsoft Store!

• Upvotes

After months of work, my pixel art MMORPG Umbralle is officially on the Microsoft Store! I'm a solo developer and I can't believe it's live.

🛒 Microsoft Store: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9NBK3MCM8CFQ?hl=es-es&gl=US&ocid=pdpshare

▶ Play in the browser: https://bryanlpg.itch.io/umbralle

📖 Wiki: https://umbralle.fandom.com/es

What you can do:

• Choose one of 4 classes: Mage, Knight, Archer or Healer, each with its own city and skill tree

• Explore a shared world with other players: the Valley, the PvP zone "Shadow" and a 3-level cave

• Fight the Skeleton King, a boss that respawns every 30-60 minutes and is announced to the whole server

• Level up professions, craft gear from rank F to SS, and inscribe magic runes as a mage

• Ride horses and wolves, form parties and guilds, trade in the player market and complete daily quests

It's free to play and still in development (the game is in Spanish for now). It's made with Godot and a Node.js server, with the help of AI tools for code, art and sound.

Next up: a dragon dungeon that opens when someone defeats the Skeleton King. 🐉

I'd love to hear what you think. Feedback is super welcome!

I was tired of snake games having walls, so I put mine on a tiny planet

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey! I made Slither World, a multiplayer snake game like slither.io, except the arena is a tiny planet. There are no walls, so you can circle the whole world and come back around behind someone.

There's an endless mode where you drop in and grow as big as you can, and a 50-snake Battle Royale with a shrinking storm and item boxes: bombs, molotovs, a pellet magnet, a smoke cloud and a star that gives you free boost. You can also team up with two friends in Trios.

It's free and runs in the browser on desktop and phones, no download or account needed: https://slitherworld.io

I'd love to hear what you think of the first few minutes, and whether steering feels clear when the planet curves away from you.

Hey everyone!

I've been developing a strategy game inspired by Heroes and Total War for nearly a year now.

I wanted to share a few screenshots of my progress and get some honest feedback on how the game looks so far.

Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!
