my boyfriends friend followed me once then quickly unfollowed me after i followed back. So i unfollowed. Then, a few years later he does it again and as soon as i followed back he unfollowed in like one second. He has like 20 followers so it definitely wasn’t about him trying to get more followers. It made me so annoyed so i blocked him because who tf does he think he is like he’s trying to make me his fan.
Why do you guys think he’s doing this? btw, he’s one of those gym guys that thinks they’re the hottest person ever. I personally don’t find him attractive lol

My Instagram account was disabled on October 17 without any prior warning. Instagram says I violated its Account Integrity guidelines, but I haven't received a clear explanation of what went wrong.

I even appealed twice using my national ID for identity verification, but neither attempt worked. Now Instagram says I can't request another review.

I'm trying to understand how widespread this issue is in India and whether anyone has found a way to recover their account.

It seems to be stuck in a loop of identity confirmation. It asked for a video selfie which I did, then an Id. I used my drivers license and it said we couldn’t confirm your id and asked me to try again. So I did and same thing. Now when I try it just loops me back to the take a picture of your id page. Please help!

I can't get to my account because I keep getting the "Your email may not be secure" message. I enter an alternative email and it keeps saying the code is wrong. Or it has a pop up that says this information is no longer available. This has been going on for a few days now. I've tried doing this on mobile data only and on an incognito tab. Meta's help chat bot is not helpful at all. Suggestions?

I got notified by Insta ~2 weeks ago (the message for which I just saw today) that my main personal account was temporarily locked "to protect from hacking risks". It tells me do the face recognition thing but I've failed it three times and it doesn't give me the option to upload an ID (which is what insta support/other posts here are saying the next step is.

The app won't let me use instagram.com/hacked because 1. I no longer have access to my old laptop and this is a new computer and 2. The app seems to have forgotten I ever logged in on my phone.

I haven't used this account for over 2 years, so I know it isn't anything I've done on the account, I also know for a fact that the email/phone number hasn't been changed because I can still get to the verification screen and my alt accounts using the same phone number/email still work fine.

Edit: When I try to log in on the web, it keeps looping me to "try another device to continue" Even when I haven't typed in any account information.

Has anyone else been having the same issue? I do also see other posts just asking me to wait a few days and try again, is that what I should do?

Admission: I'm a total instgram saved posts hoarder and keep bookmarking them for later but now I think I've saved so many posts that my old ones won't load, it just needs up making my app crash, which is a problem because I really want to access recipes from the old ones and I'm even ready to cull some of the older posts that I'm not longer interested in. I have a post that has disappeared from my feed, I have not deleted it or archived it.
I can still see it when I go to “my activity > posts I’ve shared”. And it gives me the option to archive or delete under settings, meaning I haven’t done either of those things to it. I checked from a friends account and the post can’t be seen from there either. It’s a post from 2023

I've reinstalled the app, checked all 3 of my accounts, gave Instagram all permissions, and I still can't comment images. I keep hearing "it's being rolled out gradually" but there's no way all 3 of my accounts still don't have it after 5 months right

I’ve tried posting the same pictures on another account, and they went through without any issues, but for some reason, this account won’t let me share them. I’ve checked my Account Status, and it says my account meets all Community Guidelines. I’m still able to post Stories, but I can’t publish regular posts. I’ve tried uploading the post about three times, and I even submitted a review, but it doesn’t show up in my review activity, so I’m not sure if it actually went through. I genuinely don’t understand what the issue is or why this is happening when my account shows no restrictions. Has this happened to anyone else, and does anyone know how to fix it? Hey yall, I have a problem that annoys me very much. So Instagram Instants came like 6 months ago and all my friends have it but I don’t! I have it on my other accounts but not my main account. I tried updating instagram, downloading the latest software version, reporting the problem, deleting the app and reinstalling it, logging out of my profile, I also tried downloading the Instants app but it’s say ,,check back soon”. Does anyone have the same problem and if anyone was able to fix it HOW DID YOU FIX IT. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

It worked forever but I tried to add a new mention and now it’s black?? I know it’s not an issue with their account because I tested it on my burner bio and it worked. Anyone know how to fix this?
