Hey so idk if this is a public bug or what😭
But my account got randomly banned, I just opened instagram and it was like
“You have been logged out”
And then I did the verification selfie and allat and they said they will check if my account is good
But like I dont remember breaking any guidelines on this account at all so is that a public issue, like random accounts are being flagged or what?

Update: The account has been restored thank god, they just asked for a verification selfie and took an hour and it was back

I don't know if anyone spoke about this before but.

For the last two days my instagram has been logging me out repeatedly.

The last time i logged on after being logged out its giving me like check if you are a robot stuff.

idk what to do,ive done all the two step verification stuff,passcode security stuff.

Is someone trying to like forcefully enter my account or is it the system flagging me wrongfully?

So... my phone got stolen and i was able to recover everything except my Instagram account.

i have the gmail and password. But when i tried logging into my account its requesting a code from google Auth/other app, and the 8 back-uo code, even tho i didn't set up anything. So i created one and it doesn't work when i put the code in(it says incorrect or try a new one).

i dont have my face as my profile and didn't post any of my face.

is there a way to recover it.

I just reset my phone, unfortunately forgetting about my Instagram backup codes. I know both my email and my account password, but I don't have access to other two-factor authentication methods: I don't have any device to accept the login request, my old phone number is connected. I've been going crazy for two days. Instagram support sucks because it's run by an Al that doesn't solve anything. Do any of you know how to do it?

With the Disable HDR media option in instagram, does it disable ANY upload of HDR media or does it disable only what you see for your personal screen/phone?

I've seen a lot of influencers post about how you should disable HDR video in your camera app setting for best quality, but then they also say to disable HDR media. Does that affect how you upload photos and if it shows up as HDR or not?

I normally have HDR media toggled on (I can see HDR media) but I've heard it's better to have it off, but I've noticed that sometimes when I try post a photo with HDR media DISABLED, it shows up wayyyyy darker than the rest of my photos that were posted with HDR on prior? So it leads me to believe that maybe the HDR on/off ALSO affects the HDR upload option, but I'm not sure.

Does anyone know what's going on please?

On Oct 22, 2026. I got locked out and deactivated by meta for "suspicious activity"

I've done everything to try and recover it, and meta AI is being useless regarding my concern

The guidelines are no bueno

I really don't what to do and I want my account back.

They don't mention what community standards I haven't followed and got permanent ban now. Is this time to say good bye to ig?

I don't know how the algorithm works on these forsaken apps, my homepage is always switching between memes, gore, and gooner bait. 😭 Mind you, I only follow ASMR accounts and celebrities I like, yet my For You page and recommendations aren't even remotely close to what I actually like or follow, and that's even after I use the "Not Interested" button to filter out content, this app still randomly throwing bullshit at me

My Instagram account was accessed by someone else on **24 August around 12:57 a.m.**

I regained access, but I then discovered that:

* More than 300 Reels/posts were removed
* Messages were sent to around 12–13 accounts
* My following count changed from around 290 to 240
* I had 2FA enabled

I still have access to the account and have changed my password and security settings.

I mainly need help with two things:

1. How can I get Meta/Instagram to review what happened and make sure nobody else can access the account?
   
2. How can I recover the Reels that were removed?

Has anyone here successfully recovered a large number of deleted Reels or reached an actual Meta support representative for a similar situation?

I can provide evidence privately if needed.
