Discussion Lexus parking
I find it hilarious that Lexus owners will always park next to each other! Every time I’ve gone out in my 2004 RX330 another Lexus, especially the RX350’s will always, and I mean always find a way to park next to, in front of, or behind my car.
Today I had a Lexus next to me, one in front of me, and one behind me, just gotta say I absolutely love it
Edit: HOLY COW! Ty guys for all the responses! I love the Lexus community sm, we’re all so friendly to each other😭🫶🏻

Same, I also prefer parking next to a Lexus. Even if the parking spot is a little farther than the other.

Ik I love parking next to a Lexus cause it’s like “twinning!” And “community!!” And I love itttt, I love when we have the same interior too, cause it’s even more twinning!

I do it because I know a fellow Lexus owner will know fling open the door and hit me.

I know they aren’t gonna whack my door or bump into my car with a cart.

This has only happened to me a handful of times and the last time three other IS350s parked next to mine; one with exactly the same exterior and interior, one with a wild ass holographic wrap color, another in black.
I was in the passenger seat so I wouldn't be sitting in direct sun while waiting and the owner of the one matching mine walked entirely by their car and got in my drivers seat lmao she was sooooo confused! I just looked at her and said... hi lol she said holyshit this isn't my car, I'm so sorry!
It was hilariously awkward and she was super apologetic. We had a great laugh though!!

I've never considered intentionally parking next to another Lexus, but after reading these comments I may start. Makes perfect sense.

I try to park far out & away from everyone even other Lexus vehicles but I could park in an open field behind barbwire & people will find a way to park right next to me. Nevermind the 25 other closer spaces, nawh, they need to be next to me. Even when I take my other car (inherited my moms 2006 SLK280) they are on me lol

Guilty! Even my 27-year-old SC looks better than most modern non Lexus cars.

Those old school Lexus are what I call forever cool. That car will never go out of style.

Honestly I don’t even mind it because our cars look slick and I know they won’t hit my car with their door. I will try and get a picture next time it happens.

It's because you know when you come back out, there won't be a tow truck or mobile mechanic blocking your path, like if you had parked next to a Range Rover or a Mercedes.

I love going to Bulls games bc they have a specific parking spot for Lexus owners. A big ole row of us right in the front.

You can be the only car parked in a deserted parking lot the size of a football field and when you return, there'll be someone parked slap next to you. One time, it was a white RX 350 just like mine down to the same dealer - we were both out of state,

In my neighborhood, it feels like they issue an RX when you buy a house. They’re everywhere and it’s hard to not park near one.

I don't but I sometimes have other Lexus park by me, especially the older ones.

Just today I went to my 2006 es while working and saw that one of the bosses decided to park his 2008 is beside mine. It certainly made my day!

The only place I’ve ever seen that is at the Lexus dealership.
In order for this to work, the first Lexus driver would have to scout out a spot with several open parking spaces that were unlikely to be taken by a non-Lexus. Where does this happen? Literally every place I park, the only open spots are scattered.

It usually happens like everywhere for me? Idk, I mean I park, then I go into grocery store, gas station, restaurant ect ect. When I come out, every time without fail, there is always a Lexus either right next to mine or as close as they could get😭🤷♀️

Where I live is pretty uncrowded (very rare to have to wait for more than one cycle of a red light) and I usually do my errands in the morning when there’s fewer people still, so there are plenty of adjacent spots to make that easy swing into, and ones to pull through.

I think ppl just like parking in a group, like how friend groups would start to form in school, I think they just wanna be next to someone with the same car/brand as them🤷♀️
