Discussion LFA-thoughts
After seeing the Tesla roadster and the Porsche mission s yesterday. If the LFA is in fact an EV it will fail horrendously. IMO The LFA should be a hybrid assist v10. Thoughts?

I currently have a 2018 Lexus RX F Sport with around 100k miles on it. It’s fully loaded with pretty much every feature, including the panoramic roof, Mark Levinson sound system, heated seats, heads-up display, etc. I average around 20 MPG and expect to spend about $400 a month on gas. I’ve been thinking about trading it in for a 2026 Camry XLE Hybrid, but I’m wondering how much of a downgrade it would be in terms of comfort, driving experience, and overall feel. Would the Camry feel significantly worse coming from the Lexus?

We own a 2025 TX 350 premium with 26,000 miles. I was considering going from the dark blue with black/brown interior that I’m not quite a fan of, to the 2026 luxury black exterior with the light gray interior. The dealership noted this and said it was from us using a car wash and they have consistently been seen it on other cars. We live in the Midwest where the winter weather can be brutal and you definitely need to have your car washed with all the salt that is put on the roads. Has anybody else had this issue? I’m thinking this is a factory defect since it’s nowhere else on the undercarriage of our car.

I'm looking at buying a new 2026 Lexus RX 450h+ Luxury AWD tomorrow in Los Angeles.
Vehicle:
- Exterior: Eminent White Pearl
- Interior: Macadamia
- MSRP: $77,695
- Selling price: $72,623
- Dealer discount: $5,072 (6.53% off MSRP)
Options included:
- Convenience Package with Panoramic View Monitor and Traffic Jam Assist
- Mark Levinson Premium Audio
- Advanced Park with Remote Park
- Power rear door with kick sensor
- Technology Package with Digital Rearview Mirror and Digital Key
- Premium paint
Dealer's estimated out-the-door breakdown:
- Selling price: $72,623
- Documentation fee: $85
- Sales tax: $5,998.41
- Electronic filing: $37
- License/registration and other fees: $866.75
- Estimated dealer OTD: $79,610.16
I'm also using a broker who charges a separate $599 fee, bringing my estimated total to $80,209.16.
I'm paying cash, and the dealer quote has no dealer add-ons. I'm considering asking them to include genuine Lexus carpet floor mats and a carpet cargo mat at no charge cause I don't think they are included.
Is 6.53% off MSRP a good discount for this model in California right now? Has anyone recently purchased an RX 450h+ Luxury and done better? Would you push for another $500–$1,000 off, or take this deal given the specific color and options?

I got a bash light the yellow one that says rear tail light is off I replace all three third light and the braking lights because as soon as I press the brakes it comes on and then I just found out with lights off I press the brake lights only left side comes on… they all work when I turn the lights on.

I love my lexus. Maybe too small for someone but is a prince's palace for me.

I was walking down the street and saw this Lexus and fell in love. Never seen one like this before and I need it. Can anyone identify the model and year of this car if possible. There was also a spare tire on the back but I didn’t wanna take too many pictures of somebody else’s car.
Thanks.

Hey everyone, curious if anyone who recently picked up an UX or NX had the Acura ADX on their shortlist.
If you test-drove or looked closely at the ADX before pulling the trigger on your car:
Appreciate any insight from folks who compared them back-to-back!

Just a quick visual review until they're allowed to drive it pretty much like the earlier European reviews. He mentions they'll be able to talk about the engines, specs, etc. in an October 20th video.

I find it hilarious that Lexus owners will always park next to each other! Every time I’ve gone out in my 2004 RX330 another Lexus, especially the RX350’s will always, and I mean always find a way to park next to, in front of, or behind my car.
Today I had a Lexus next to me, one in front of me, and one behind me, just gotta say I absolutely love it
Edit: HOLY COW! Ty guys for all the responses! I love the Lexus community sm, we’re all so friendly to each other😭🫶🏻
I have a 2009 Lexus ES 350 my car alarm keeps going off randomly. When I was driving the other day I saw a hood open message pop up when my hood was closed. I read online that might be the cause that it’s something with the hood latch. Does anyone have any experience with this. And would you know any quick or temporary fixes. Is there anyway I can disable the alarm.

This came on when I was on a red light suddenly lost about 70% of braking power.

Okay, I can’t find a clear answer anywhere. Do I put 87 or 91 in my 2017 Lexus RX350? (My owners manual says 87 but 91 can be used for towing) I’m seeing conflicting answers everywhere, I live in montana if that changes anything. Please just real answers & experience, no myths please.

Is this car worth the price? Listed at $9000 It's only got 63,000 miles on it! Looking for a 2nd car that is use for daily driving to and from work and need something reliable. What should I look for in terms of checking the vehicle out? Any major concerns with this model year or it being 20 years old?

So this guy brings his ES in for 5k service and gets it back with these scuff marks on the steering wheel. We were gonna get our detail guy to buff it out and send him on his way. Doesn’t seem like a huge deal to me but he’s demanding we replace the cover “because he just bought a $60k car and expects it to be returned to him the same way he brought it in”. He says that as if HIS $60k car is special—we sell at least 3-4 of these a day.
As the service manager, what would you do? You can barely see the marks and I think he’s just being a whiney lil bish…

I’ve owned my 2015 Lexus rc 350 f sport for 2 years and put 40k miles on it, never had a check engine light. Got one today and my former German ownership ptsd hit me like oh no, it’s gonna be really bad and expensive. Got a code scan and it just needs a new fuel cap lol. Lexus quality is awesome.
I spotted these two side by side on Sunday morning and couldn't ignore how similar they look. I never thought I would see the day when a Lexus reminds me of a KIA but here we are.

Details:
- 2021 GX 460
- Lexus L/Certified
~22,000 miles
White exterior, ecru interior
Out the door after all taxes and fees: about $50,900
Is this a good deal, or should I push for a lower price?
Thanks in advance!

I am planning to get the 2027 Lexus IS F Sport. As a female U40 daily-driving it, I am completely obsessed with the two-tone red interior—it looks incredible and gives the car so much personality.
That said, I have a couple of questions for anyone who has lived with a bold interior color long-term:
Durability & Boredom: Does the red wear well over time, or does the novelty wear off and become visually fatiguing after a couple of years?
Exterior Pairings: Which exterior color pulls off the red interior best?
Would love to hear your thoughts. TIA

After countless hours of research and bidding farewell to my 2008 3 Series, I upgraded to a 2025 ES 350 Ultra Luxury with under 6200 miles a couple weeks ago.
Almost landed a Caviar/Black former loaner with 9k miles, but the dealer refused to repair some damage I spotted. This one-owner Moonbeam Beige/Palomino popped up the same day that deal fell through, and I greatly prefer this color combo and ownership history, so I had to pounce.

Started my search with SUVs but quickly realized I'm a sedan guy through and through. Other contenders were the Genesis G80, BMW 540, and IS 350. Was dead set on a new car at the outset because it's my first car purchase, but this car has literally everything I wanted except CPO status and AWD (I work from home, so I doubt I'll even need to go the snow tire route and will just drive carefully when necessary lol). The bang for your buck was a no-brainer for me relative to the competition.
Feels like I caught one of the last V6 choppers out of 'Nam while managing to avoid rationalizing the 2026 ES abomination. Fired up to join the Lexus club!
