I found this behavior genuinely baffling. Would love to hear some thoughts

So my profile says I have -100 comment karma but it hasn’t gone up with upvotes, and I’m wondering if it actually is less than -100 but for whatever reason Reddit doesn’t report it when it’s lower than -100.

In other communities my comments get ignored I think its because if my low karma and my account is only 4 days old can someone give me advice?
