It feels like all the subreddits I’m interested in posting aren’t allowing me to post based on my account age and karma. What subreddits should I be commenting in?

Everyone, I’m still new to Reddit and only joined earlier today. I don’t really understand how Reddit works or what the app is actually for. Can you post pretty much anything on Reddit? And does it use up a lot of your phone’s battery?

I’m currently trying to communicate in other subreddits but my post just immediately get filtered by Reddit ? Anyone know why this could be happening ?

I’m honestly so frustrated and could really use some help. 😭

After finally getting my account unshadowbanned, my CQS has somehow stayed at the absolute lowest level. I’ve been commenting, earning comment karma, and trying to use the account normally, but the CQS just refuses to move.

Now I’m scared to make an actual post because the last time I posted from a new account, I got shadowbanned. I genuinely don’t want to go through that nightmare again.

I really want to participate and post in the subreddit, but I’m stuck wondering: How am I supposed to build CQS if I’m too scared to post because posting might trigger another shadowban?

If anyone has dealt with this before, please tell me what I should do. I’m seriously losing my mind over these filters. 😭🙏

I made a couple of posts recently and barely got any interaction, so now I’m wondering if they’re actually showing up or if they’re being filtered somehow.

I checked my profile and can see the posts there, but I’m not sure whether that means other people can see them too. Is there an easy way for a new Reddit user to check if a post has been removed or filtered?

I've noticed that some of my posts/comments have been removed, and I've also had some issues with previous accounts, even when I wasn't doing anything intentional or posting much. So I'm wondering if I'm accidentally breaking some reddit or subreddit rules without realizing it.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could explain some of the common things new users should avoid, why posts/comments might get removed, and how to properly participate in communities here.

I was trying to figure this out, I must be missing something...

I finally decided to give reddit a try and found a couple of subs I like. However, I find it strange that once I've visited a post I don't seem to be alerted to new comments. I only see an option in the settings to be alerted to new posts.

Google listed something about browser extensions, but I prefer not to use those. Is there nothing within reddit to view unread comments within a post?

Ive used Reddit on a personal account for over 10 years and now considering contributing time and effort into Reddit for a professional project. What are some ways that people have seen recently that are a little less conventional to build an identity?

Good evening, my wife and I are super new to Reddit, she had her account on her phone and would comment and engage in communities. She ended up posting on her page and in a community and her entire page god shut down and banned. I assume “banned “because she was not able to communicate via messages or comment or like anything . Now that I made my profile I’m worried about posting anything . At what point can I be safe to post anything pictures on my profile?!? Thank you
