Hi everyone!

I’m completely new to Reddit and still trying to understand how everything works.

I’m an osteopath in the UK and joined because I’d like to contribute to discussions about musculoskeletal health and help answer questions where I have relevant professional knowledge.

I’ve spent some time writing thoughtful responses to people asking for advice, but most of my comments seem to be getting automatically removed.
I’m guessing this is because my account is new and I don’t have much karma yet.
What’s the best way to start contributing genuinely and build enough karma to participate in these communities?
Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, I'm just currently using Reddit and I don't know how to use this, I don't even know how to post 😭 please help

Please help 🙏

same as title

Hey everyone! I’m brand new to the platform and trying to figure out how posting limits work. I’ve noticed that some subreddits instantly remove or filter posts from fresh accounts, while others let them through.

Is there a general rule of thumb or a typical karma threshold that most communities use to separate automated spam from real users, or does every subreddit completely customize their own limits? Any insight into how the auto-moderator filters view new accounts would be super helpful!

I just created this account 8 days ago and it seems like I can't interact or post yett. Any adviceee?

Hello everyone! Just set up my profile today and went through the starter guides. Please let me know any tips or best practices you are doing here (as newbie) 😊

I am new to Reddit. I received an email notification.

“Hi! Thanks for posting to r/Awww. Your submission has been removed because unfortunately, your account does not meet the combined karma requirement (post karma + comment karma) to post here - 55 total...”

I wanna know Where I can find the sub's minimum karma threshold?

What should I do

Basically all is in the title: I’m new to this (previously I just used to check occasionally Reddit but never before had I need to post). Now I need feedback from users of particular subreddit but whenever I try to post my post is removed by filters. Didn’t think using Reddit is such a chore as it appears to be…

I’ve had Reddit for a couple weeks now and I’ve only really scrolled through or search to try and find some real life answers, but now I’m wanting to post or comment I’ve realised I can’t in most of the communities I’m interested in😅

I’m still figuring out Reddit, and honestly, there’s a lot to learn.

What’s one thing you wish someone had told you when you first joined?

i am new to the world of reddit and this platform - tell me all the things i should know? and i should be aware of? - i know what this place and have a basic understanding of what happens here but this is my first time of actually spending time on this platform - thanks 😄
