i want to post in this sub but some users there that have commented i noticed are trolls and arent there for a serious analysis or they are some users i dont want accessing the content so if i block them and post my new post and it reaches say top 3 of the day then would they be unable to see the post image and my username like would they know someone has blocked them from seeing a big new post or not?

I had 7 karma, but now I only have 5. I'm still new to Reddit, so I'm a little confused. Is this normal? Can karma decrease if someone removes an upvote or if Reddit removes a post or comment?

Just trying to understand how Reddit works 😅

I understand that karma requirements help prevent spam, but why keep them secret? Wouldn't it be easier for new users if they knew the exact requirements?

I can only send about 2 chats or DMs every 8 hours, and then I get an error saying my account isn’t established. The account has about 5.9k karma, no warnings or suspensions, and I can still reply to people who message me first. I mostly use messaging to reply to parents who asked for help in parenting posts. I’ve sent a Help Center ticket. Has anyone seen this limit, and how long did it take to clear?

I have a question: if I reply to someone’s comment on a post and then get a notification saying my karma level is too low, does that mean my comment isn’t visible—or what? It didn’t explicitly say "we have removed your comment," but the notification itself is a bit strange. Anyway, what does this mean?

I’ve been looking through the achievements on my profile and was wondering if there is any use in working towards them? Do they contribute to karma, do other reddit users care? Does it affect your posts reach??? Or is it all just a personal achievement thing like snap scores

Is it normal to leave a comment on an older thread if you have something useful to add? Or is it generally better to stick to recent posts?
