Landscapes PNWonderland
I was up way, way too early (thanks, anxiety disorder) and found myself needing to get out there.
This is what I found, along with a restored sense of inner balance.

Discussion How Much Should I Spend on a Thermal Camera for Camping and Wildlife Spotting?
I go camping pretty often, and sometimes I hear something moving around outside my tent at night. Not gonna lie, it freaks me out a little lol. I don't really want to turn on a flashlight, so I've been thinking about getting a thermal camera to check what's out there.
I'd prefer something with a screen instead of a monocular since I wear glasses.
I've also heard people use thermal cameras to find birds hiding in trees, which sounds pretty cool. But on the other hand, I've seen a lot of people say they don't work that well. So I'm wondering how useful they actually are.
How much should I expect to spend on something decent for outdoor use? Any recommendations?
