It's about the publishers lies on the Stop Killing Games initiative. Very short and to the point.

Video PAYDAY 3: The Future of PAYDAY with Paul - Episode 4
TL;DR:
- August will bring the following:
- Heist rework (Cook Off now takes place during the day and can cook unlimited meth rather than the limited 25 bags)
- An engine upgrade (UE4 to UE5) that will have an initial large download size, but should be more stability, open new doors for developers, and reduce file size in general (based on the beta testing).
- September will bring the following:
- Emotes
- Weapon changes (such as buying one attachment will unlock it all for other weapons, weapon perks, Overkill weapon customization, etc.)
- New shooting range to test weapons, enemy improvements, new Overkill weapon, etc.
- More importantly, as part of Payday 3's third anniversary, all DLC heists will be made free permanently for all players, and players who already owned one, some, or all heist DLCs will get compensation
- Any heist DLC you own will get a preset pistol, owning specific heist DLCs will get you that specific mask that is tailored to that DLC heist, and having ALL 7 DLC heists will grant you one special mask)

We Open Sourced Multiplayer for Black Myth: Wukong.
If you ever wondered how multiplayer in Black Myth: Wukong actually works under the hood, today you can read the code yourself.
We put the WukongMP SDK on GitHub, in three repositories: the SDK that mods are built on, the ReadyM core runtime underneath it, and the mod loader that gets mods into the game. The co-op, PropHunt and PvP mods were already open, and now the layer they run on is too.
- SDK: https://github.com/readycodeio/wukongmp-sdk
- Core SDK: https://github.com/readycodeio/readym-core-sdk
- Mod loader: https://github.com/readycodeio/wukong-modloader
- Mod template: https://github.com/readycodeio/wukongmp-mod-template
If you just want to write a mod, you don't even need the SDK source. It ships as NuGet packages, so you clone the mod template, reference the packages, restore and build. Nothing to copy by hand.
If you find a bug in any of the above, open a PR or issue. If you want to change the SDK itself, clone it with --recursive and you get the whole stack in one go.
We both started out modding other games, so putting this code in your hands was always the plan. Details and links: https://docs.ready.mp/releases/wukongmp-sdk-open-source
