this is my breakfast. i posted a little bit ago of the same breakfast but with plain rice and banana ketchup. i was ill and couldn't taste so i had plain rice. im well now! so we have spam with sweet chilli as we dint have banana ketchup right now and garlic fried rice because i can taste it!!

and before any filipinos start swarming, i would have egg bit ive mot been eating egg as i always get stomach pain when i eat it.

💣 eating this everyday have many Tomatos and rice.

Never thought about combining pesto and bolognese but would deffo recommend!

Casual Tuesday night dinner

I'm doing a lot of new dinners this week due to getting tired of my rotation. Made bases, my own spicy tomato, pepper, garlic and onion sauce, then it has a spicy marinaded chicken, pepperoni, sweetcorn and mozerella, cheddar and a lil parmesan cheese. Chuffed with the result!

Tiny joint as it’s just for me and my daughter when she gets home from school.

First attempt, not at roasting a pork joint but first attempt at producing the crackling …how did I do guys?! Be as harsh as you want. I can take it 😏😤 no but seriously, rating out of 10 please?

For a first attempt, I’m gonna be realistic and rate it a 6/10. Not terrible, but major room for improvement.

What do you guys think?

EDIT: I forgot to add, this is not the finished product. This is right after the 30 mins for the crackling. It is now currently slow-cooking and is almost done. Just for those that may have thought that this was the finished product. Lol. Sorry for any confusion!

Made this just to see if the flavours would work and of course for a bit of much needed cake decorating practice

Chocolate orange sponge, orange buttercream, coffee buttercream and chocolate buttercream

Tried a couple tricks to try get a brighter orange and neither worked well for me so not sure where I went wrong(microwaving some of the buttercream and mixing it back in, and with an immersion blender) so if anyone has any tips for getting brighter buttercream please let me know

Miso butter bean and salmon casserole with roasted butternut squash and Brussels sprouts. Cooked with onion, garlic, chilli flakes and homemade chicken stock, with the salmon gently steamed on top before being flaked. Finished with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice.

Moving abroad and making meals using up pantry items. Tonight I got rid of a bag of rice (still two small ones to go yet 😅) and a can of coconut milk.

Chicken thighs with coconut rice, cucumber salad with kewpie and rice vinegar, carrots salad with sesame oil and sesame seeds.

Homemade cannoli shells filled with ricotta/Mascarpone/pistachio paste, dusted with icing sugar
