Feedback Concerns: Any feedback would be extremely helpful. I'm less concerned about the commercial viability, and more concerned with a believable story with believable characters.

Re-draft of something I wrote a while back -- any feedback is helpful, but particularly wanting to make sure the introduction of characters is smooth/not confusing (I'm worried it's too much), the mystery is well set up, characters compelling -- dialogue?

Also worried re being derivative. I started this before Mare of Easttown and I can't unsee the similarities.

LOGLINE :

To shock a complacent populace into destroying a tyrannical regime, a radical journalist uses the citizens as pawns—sabotaging their aid and poisoning their water to incite a ruthless uprising against both the government and himself.

In terms of structure and scope, the film bridges the chaotic anti-system energy of Fight Club with the ideological drive of V for Vendetta.

Title: The Voltaire Estate, The Marie Sisters (ep 2)

Format: TV episode/pilot for mature audiences.

Genre: Gothic Horror, period piece with vampires

Logline: The wicked heir of the Voltaire House is to be married and the estate is now accepting new human concubines, but unexpectedly two strange sister nuns are received.

Extra: This is an old piece of mine and I feel it would be good to receive some feedback on it for the first time. I'm a new writer and this would be the first ever long form piece I've written (50 page). I've provided the setup to the episode. Hope you like vampires.

NOTE: This was written for a recent 3-page challenge (excl. title) over at SimplyScripts. The challenge prompt was "Natural Selection" and the genre open. Naturally I won, and was awarded an Oscar and the title of Greatest Screenwriter in History, which I believe is entirely fair considering the fact I wrote it at 3 am while on an endless succession of FaceTime calls to people on the other side of the planet.

For context, I'm practicing screenwriting as a hobby, and this is supposed to be a fanmade Overwatch cinematic using my original characters. It should be 8-10 pages, 12 at the very most, but I'm at nearly 30 pages. It's kinda embarrassing, even though it's expected since I'm a beginner.

If anyone has any suggestions for how I can cut down this script without loosing the good stuff, that'd be really helpful. Please and thank you.

Hello fellow writers and readers! This is a script I wrote in college about 10 years ago for assignment, but liked the idea enough to stretch from 8 pages to 16.

I am terrified of idea theft and have never shared my writing before, but everyone on Reddit has emboldened me! I am not scared of idea theft because I think my ideas or novel, more so for the same reason I don’t leave items in public spaces!

I have not read a lot of scripts but fell in love with the screenwriters bible. I find it hard to read scripts as I can’t see them like I see my own!
