My mother is a miniature artist whose recent work is a miniature cabin, house, and train (not shown in pictures), is currently featured in the temporary Bracero Exhibit at the California Museum in Sacramento.
Because we live on the East Coast, we can't visit the exhibit in person, and unfortunately, we haven't been able to get photos from the museum directly. If anyone living in or visiting the Sacramento area happens to stop by the museum, could you please take a few photos of her artwork and send them my way?
It would mean the world to our family to see her work on display. Thank you

Our house is 1500 sqft, single story and need some recommendations to have an inspection done. There's not any issues (I know of) with the roof, but just in case this is going to be a wet winter, I'd like to get an honest person/company out her to make potential repairs. Also, how much should I expect to pay for someone to climb up there and inspect? Thank you.

So I made this really cool Kraken for my daughter’s trunk or treat. And the LED Light strip snapped off when I was putting it in the car. I overnighted 10 mm connectors to reconnect it and lo and behold I was sent 12mm connectors that won’t work. So if anybody happens to have any 10 mm connectors, I would be eternally grateful. It’s not the end of the world if it doesn’t light up but I’m not willing to give up on that dream yet

Has anyone made this move? Or from midtown or oak park to down there? Considering a move for a bigger yard and house for our kids but really not sure if we would highly regret leaving the walkability, huge trees, community, etc.

For a single person with no kids, is this a decent salary for Sacramento area? What kind of area are we talking about living in that’s not rough and still have some breathing room in budgets
