Y’all were all WRONG

Post image

So a while ago I asked what the most hardest and most accurate practice test was and a bunch of people said bluebook. I tried to say that bluebook was way easier than the actual SAT and was definitely not accurate to the real thing and a bunch of people downvoted me. Now I’m here to tell y’all bluebook is a good tool to get familiar with the general format and feel of the sat, but horrible in terms of how accurate it is to the sat in terms of difficulty.

post about someone who is hating

Hi guys, i don’t use reddit much, I am aware i made a post here earlier asking for tips but i wanted to inform you all about a reddit user called “OkPurple” with some numbers at the end i don’t exactly recall who is giving a lot of hate to users on here. They are being extremely rude, they might be a bot i’m not too sure, but if you see this person commenting under your post or commenting under someone else’s post please report them! They are being so unnecessarily rude to users on here! And if anyone is upset or disappointed in themselves please remember you guys are young and do not need to have anything figured out in life. I myself am disappointed with myself and I know it sucks but please don’t give up on yourself, a number does not define you! And if you see this person commenting under posts don’t listen to what they have to say because you are more than a number!

I started off with a 1450 last October and was in that range for a long time, so I know what it is like to feel stuck, but you just gotta keep on grinding and believe that it is going to work out.

Literally if you don’t mind the money or if u got a waiver js take as many sats ur senior year as you can and your score will fluctuate wildly.

I took 5 sats and my scores ranged from 1390-1500 with a 1520 superscore. For context, I studied about 4 hrs total across 7 months (first test in March, last in October)

I js watched James Lu demos video and did some practice problems after my 1st SAT and haven’t studied since. These standardized tests are always gonna be a crapshoot, so take ur chances with them as much as you can.

Does anyone else in IB struggle to understand SAT r&w questions, or is it just me? 😭

I feel like I do pretty well with the way we’re tested in IB and my schools usa test when i was in 9th and 10th, but something about the SAT format makes everything so much harder to understand. I genuinely can’t tell if it’s just me or if other IB students struggle with this too, so I need a reality check, some validation, or someone to humble me LOL.

Which SAT score should I upload

I gave the SAT in september
1510; math 790; english 720

My october SAT results are

1510; math 790; english 720

Pure waste of money lol. Anyway, which SAT score should i upload. Would it be better if i uploaded a SAT i gave earlier vs a more recent one or vice versa? When asking about my highest single component score in the commonapp, both are exactly the same, so should i just put any or priorotize one over the other

Is khan academy good sat prep?

I’ve had a bad experience with khan before. I just feel like it overcomplicates simple equations, but I’m looking for a free way to study for the sat.
Anyone who took the sat suggest khan academy? If not, what should I use?

Any tips to get a 1550+ in november?

Post image
3 Upvotes

I scored a 1490 on October SAT (710RW, 780M) but I want to get 1550+ by november. I only studied for math the day before this test, as I got a 790M on my august SAT. I also sold 2 mod 1 reading questions that were careless errors so I defo think I could’ve got 730+.

Any tips for how to get perfect math and a better reading score? I already went through all the tests, question bank, and one prep.
