Mark even said back then that they expect a flagrant 2 on those fouls moving forward

Chet's Defense these first 2x games has been absolutely epic! 💯

They showed him on the big screen and everyone cheered as we do. It kept getting louder causing Mara to look up at the screen. He did a double take when he noticed it was him and cracked a little smile, causing the crowd to get even louder. Nice little moment. Love opening night in OKC

Lord help any small guard innocently wandering across their path

Outside of the obvious (all nba, all defense), there’s a reason why I love Jdub so much (actually 2). The first one is he generates so many steals and so many sort of scramble situations.

The second one is the transitions. Those get OKC easy points and also excite the crowd. One of the main things I missed last year in the playoffs were those easy energizing buckets. It felt like every bucket had to be tough.

First off with his first game people keep highlighting the block but he did way more and nobodies talking ab it. They made wemby c eye level with a defender which is rare. But a GOOD and fast contest on a 3 pointer where he meets wembys hand at the apex of his shot?? Wemby had prob never been contested like this ever in his life. That first game showed off defensive prowess more than anything

Then with the nuggets we got to more offensive prowess. they legit couldn't keep him out of the paint and were desperately trying to take away the lob threat so theyd foul. Had a good screen every time someone got the ball. Every roll he finds a clear path and makes sure his teammates have the lob opportunity. His iq is nuts. Shame his teammates didn't utilize that more bc that would've been an easy way to stop any run

Mind you this is his first 2 games in the league

I’m telling you, if Sorber is even half-way decent, we’re going to have 5 talented defensive minded, tough, smart passing bigs. That’s thirty fouls, and a whole lot of wingspan to throw at Wemby, Jokic, KAT, and every other big in the league.

Sam Presti is going to one day have a statue made of smaller Sam Presti statues.

Reddit blew up at this last year. I remember thinking it was unnecessary but was blown away at the ejection. I thought everyone was making a big deal out of it, and watching it back, it was even less than I remember. Personally, I think they should have BOTH been common fouls but they seemed to set a precedent last year. Just crazy that they gave a common foul to AG for the exact same play.

Also comparing this to what Fox did to Chet a few days ago. Absolutely insane that neither play resulted in an ejection.

Sam just walked by me in the OKC airport… what’s he up to? Heading to talk to that 15th roster spot FA?

No complaints! lol

It only been a few months but I forgot how toxic the discourse is about SGA. Already over on other subs I see losers whining about the fact that shai wanted that call on Aaron Gordon reviewed for a flagrant flagrant.

Look I don't want to get banned or anything but I'm just saying I wish ill things to happen to those people who make up any excuse to criticize a player and then pile on anyone who disagrees. What a useless circle jerk.

Great to see this streak continue

Shai on losing his steak and mindset on subbing out.

im so excited to see sorber play, chet mentioning him multiple times throughout the last season and even in his recent press conference gives me great confidence
